Given the unlikelihood of the modern world playing a significant role, it looks like we have found our mighty warlord. Discuss.

Oh, and I'm sure that another bunch of whiny losers will jump the erfworld boat because they can't stand having a modern world character involved. Personally, I wonder how they're going to play our warlord's personality, for that is a pretty critical element in deciding how the story will play out and feel.

Damn that was fast like the Dickens. I didn't believe you at first.

I suspect that he will be totally awesome, given that he is actually outside of Erfworld looking in; not omnipotent by any means (unless he's writing it), and not even omniscient, but pretty darn close. Especially if he can press pause or load from an earlier save point.

Money well spent, in my opinion.

Hey, I have that issue! First copy of Dragon Magazine I ever bought. Also, anyone check that website he was looking at? It's a webcomic, but I don't know if it means anything, or if it was just a coincidence.

So , a great warlord because he has a greater understanding of the rules of the game/world maybe?

Thumbs up And it begins to get good...

Looks like it is a turn-based strategy. I have just started playing a couple myself, and though computer games aren't my schtick, they're pretty good.

Erfworld's going well. now I can forgive the cutesy-talk and odd proprtions of people, due to the fact that they aren't exactly real in the comic.

I'm still following, and it's not bad, but it's still third place as far as my favorite webcomics, and I only read three. Here's to hoping it gets better!

Didn't see it coming.. but I like it.

    *thinking about all posibilities*

This is goping to be fun.

I wouldn't wan't to face _The_Perfect_Warlord_ from _All_Exictance_ in any strategy game ever. I hate getting all beaten. Still I would like to see how he manages to live in game world.. not just master its mechanics from outside. I bet that Jillan and Zanda aren't going to fall on his feets just because he TBW.

I don't know what it is but the humour of that comic referenced in ERFWORLD 14 just hit me.

I'm guessing the guy is the creator (who appears to be "Parson Gotti" AKA "LORD HAMSTER")

The intriguing thing is that I recognized the back cover of the magazine instantly, but not the front (which still isn't difficult to guess, given other comments). It's from the cover of the third Book of Eldritch Might (The Nexus).

The whole you're-in-a-turn-based-game thing didn't surprise me, but showing off someone distinctly involved in it will likely prove interesting.

Warning: you may not want to look up a link for "Stile Project" mentioned in ERFWORLD 14.

Just my advice unless you like that sort of web material.

I actually was thinking at first that the guy in the comic was the writer of Erfworld, and that this was his way of saying that he was going to stop making it since it isn't getting enough traffic, or something. Now that I read this stuff on here, I don't think that anymore. I'm glad, because I want to see how this whole story pans out and it would suck if he stopped now.

I remember seeing a comic in 2000AD that finished up with the creater suddenly switching to themselves and basically saying "uh, I can't be bothered with this any more". It then switched back to the comic where she killed the entire cast... THE END

Another web comic that ERFWORLD 14 may have referenced to.

    By someone called R.K.Milholland

Hey! I warned you about the Stile Project. Figured I could save others from googling it like I did but I think I just encouraged it *shakes head* sorry.

Not 100% certain but the "Girls Gone Feral" link could be this web comic by "Katie Fedigan-Linton"

Might take some more searching to find this one but then again it could just be a crude reference to a sex site using a display name *shrug*

Well this is an interesting turn of events. My original thought was that the metagame predictions were true - this is that Erfworld was just a boardgame being played somewhere, but like like the OP's explanation better. As I said, interesting.

I think "Hart Av Srednak" got it right.

This guy is the ultimate WARLORD! from across all dimensions.

Notice how he's certainly no "prettyboy" like Stanly would have picked. Wonder if he'll stay looking like he is or be transformed for ERFWORLD.

I love the "Jesus Saves" sticker. I've been looking to buy one of 'em myself, as well as the shirt.

I also like the D&D stuff in the game room.

If it weren't for the videogames, television, and dirtiness (I'm a clean freak when it comes to my living space), that room reminds me of my normal D&D setup.

I like how it switches between cartoony for Erfworld and realistic for RL. And it explains the inclusion of internet memes, peeps, etc.

Maybe this guy should be added to the Profile page?
