By that measure, I have one faction, two species and no characters. I don't use the Directory, as I'm never certain which of my character ideas will work and I find keeping all the seperate ones updated rather tedious.

So I use a single Word document, which works for me. There's thirty-five characters on that word document (with the Cult of Dalachrech recorded elsewhere, and one-off characters like Dark Lightning, Killdren, Inside's gargoyles, etc, completely unrecorded). Of those thirty five, I regularly use three of them, which is why I don't use the Directory- the other thirty two might come back for a while (Oddball, Gnapthka; potentially Morbit), make a cameo in a random scene (Truggalump), or may be gone forever (Cacame, Sattael, Nishtar, Myrmidon, Iron Pyrite, etc). Or they might just be gone without a scene for a while and I'll pop them back for an adventure (Cinnamon Stick, Volley Shot & Doc Sorebones) or are relatively new and unestablished (Cheasadh, April, Ipthka, etc).

Everyone gets over your being a vampire really quickly except one or two people who make it their life's mission to kill you and everyone you loved, you can never use shape-shifting effectively, and yet you still feel it's OP in conflicts. Despite being a terrifying creature of darkness, no one is afraid of you, and the most you can hope for is to be turned into an adorable animal.

Of my characters, Arlem considers itself an enemy of Dalalrech when it remembers that Dalalrech exists, and would be more than willing to kill one of his followers, Skye might kidnap humans for lethal ciology experiments, Atorre can always use more victimsraw bio-materials, and if any of them are interested in being trapped for eternity rather than killed, Cleo can make that happen.
Or I can come up with a tailored death event.

Well, I dunno. Having played a vampire who's also a shapeshifter for unrelated reasons, I can confirm that shapeshifting can be effective in combat. But it definitely does feel OP, too, yeah.

The best kinds of vampires are clearly woozlepires like Riki and Fangires. The former because Riki is one and therefore they are the best, the latter because I totally did not steal them from the Toei film company and/or its writers.

Woozlepire: Totally not an official name, just something I nicknamed Riki because she can turn into a cuddly nanimal or something. Reccy's the one who actually knows what Riki is beyond "a vampire or something".

Fangire: Stained-glass-like vampire creatures, each with a true form based on some sort of animal (and a flowery true name) and a hman guise. Consume life force instead of blood, thus draining their victim of all color and making their bodies turn to glass. Adapted/taken from the show Kamen Rider Kiva.

Yes, I believe someone (Artemis?) mentioned you had a namesake character at one point, Ghar?

I've long considered one, but sadly Sek'Kuar is the only MTG character to ever hold the title Deathkeeper, which makes it pretty darn hard to figure out what it is.
And if you're asking why I'm named it then, well a) it sounds cool and b) back in seventh grade I made a Youtube account and a friend told me not to do something dorky like name it after a trading card. He is and was kind of a prick, so I did. The name stuck, mostly because I'm hopelessly unoriginal.
