Ashla looked around at the others, realizing that she knew nothing about them. "I might be of some assistance. I helped plot hyperspace routes on my families shipping vessels."

[Erasmas]

Middan turned to whomever was seated beside him.

"'Like breathing'?! What is talking about?! Does anybody know what she meant by that?!", the soldier asked with no small amount of trepidation underlying his voice.

[galenbd]

Lashkel looks over at the soldier sweating beside her. She resists the temptation to wind him up more. That just wouldn't be nice.

"I think she meant knows it well. By the way, the lifepods are right over there.", she comments pointing off to the right.

"If you want, you could take up residence in there, just in case."

[Worgwood]

"Ah, don't bother," Wes interjects. "Trust me, if anything goes wrong, you're much better off up here, closer to the reactor. Less painful that way."

[Erasmas]

"You are two are really funny.", Middan retorted before finding somewhere else to look.

"An entire planet wasted and I have to get onboard a starship with two clowns."

[Worgwood]

"You think I'm joking? You really haven't done this before, huh?"

Wes leans forward and shoots Middan a grin. "Chin up, pal. Have a little faith in your Kenobi friend. None of us came this far to die now, right?"

[Erasmas]

Middan cast a glance towards where the Togruta had gone off towards the bridge.

"It ain't the dying part that I'm afraid of."

[theskorpionking]

Ashla unbuckles herself and walks up to the cockpit. She knocks on the closed door, it opens. She sees Shasi sitting in the pilots chair. "My name's Ashla and I like to breath." she said, trying to calm her nerves. She looks out the viewport and stifles a scream. "Is that what I think it is? And why do we seem to be getting closer to it?"

She spots the navcomputer, "Here goes nothing."

Shasi gives Ashla a "well, what were you expecting?" look. "Very much so. Now you see the urgency, yes?"

As her new compatriot works with the navicomputer, Shasi reopens communications. With a tone of rushed panic, she half screams, half hyperventilates into the comms. "Command, this is Indomitable. Big problem. Something's wrong with the ship's computer. Engines going hayware! Navigcomputer..." her voice switches to the low tone of someone who knows they're about to die. "Oh no. No no no no no no no no no NO NO!

Deception: (1d20+15)[32]

[Lentrax]

The hyperdrive kicks in, sending you blasting into hyperspace.

Suddenly, a whining scream screeches through the ship and you fall out of hyperspace quickly enough that you are lurched forward and fall to the deck.

The lights flicker and die and emergency lighting comes on.

Outside the viewports you can see a planet, but it isn't instantly recognizable.

Ashla picks herself up off the deck. She looks out the viewport and see nothing she recognizes. The one thing that was drilled into her head by her father was to never jump blind. And she did jus that. "Oh boy." She says quietly to herself.

[Erasmas]

"Now what?!"

[Henry the 57th]

Shasi gets up from where she fell, rubbing her head. After the ache fades somewhat activates her comlink. "Espee, come to the cockpit, please."

When the little droid shows up, she points to the planet. "Is there anything in your databanks that corresponds to this world?"

Mistress. Without more data I cannot be entirely certain. The planet below could be one of nineteen. The number was originally 18736 planets, but visual data has allowed me to eliminate nearly all of them.

[Henry the 57th]

Shasi nods. "Very well. Please get the Pit Droids and have them meet me in the engine room. I need to see what's happened to this ship."

Assuming nothing else gets her attention, she goes briskly to the ship's engine room to diagnose the problem.

[Worgwood]

Wes licks his lips. He stands and looks towards Middan, Lashkel, and Geno. His hand curls around his pistol's grip but it seems more like a comfortable habit than a show of hostility.

"I'm getting the impression that we're not in mortal danger any more... so! Who the hell are you people?"

[Kydell]

G3-N0

Geno's clarification and introduction protocols jump into action, 'I am not a people, sir. I am G3-N0, a Mechis built protocol droid. My self preservation protocol lead me to the spacedock where I safely made it off of Kuat and onto this vessel.'

[galenbd]

Lashkel frowns at the brusk introduction. She tries to think calming thoughts.

"I'm Lashkel for all that might tell you. I too have a 'self-preservation protocol' and I climbed on the only flight out. Those Sith weren't going to leave anyone alive. And who might you be?"

[Worgwood]

"Me? I'm nobody." He reaches up with a free hand to scratch his eartip and then carries on, "but if that won't do, you can call me Wes. Wes Deadstar."

[Lentrax]

The droids start working on diagnosing the ships problems and a short time later Espee comes back with a preliminary report.

According to the pit droids, many of the ships systems are damaged to one degree or another. Weapons and shields are currently offline. Life support is damaged, but not critical. The Hyperdrive motivator has been damaged and the negative power coupling has polarized. Hull stress is reported at 61 percent. We have lost our connection to the holonet. The sensor grid is down, and so are the main computers. The droids recommend setting down so we can make repairs.

[Henry the 57th]

"How long is it estimated the repairs will take if we all do them?" Shasi asks, hoping she can avoid landing on a potentially Imperial planet.

[Lentrax]

Critical repairs can be completed within 48 hours, if adequate parts can be obtained. However some of the repairs to the hull can only be performed in a proper repair facility.

[Erasmas]

The soldier swallowed hard, almost like he was forcing something back. After a moment of collecting himself, he spoke simply, "Middan... Middan Osto."

[galenbd]

"Nice to meet you, Wes. I hope you're not as trigger happy as you seem. Since the inertial dampners have cut back, I'm going to go see why we have stopped so abruptly."

Lashkel unbuckles from her seat and wends her way up to the cockpit.

She opens up the door and sticks her head in. Looking out at the planet, she asks, "Anyone know what's going on for us passenger's peace of mind?"

[theskorpionking]

"Well the good news is that we survived. We didn't smash into a planet or fly through a star. The bad news, neither I nor the captain knows where in the galaxy we are. The worse news, according to the captains droid, the ship ain't doing so well. The captain left to check on how bad it is."

[Henry the 57th]

Shasi nods. "Thanks Espee. Get the pit droids to start doing what they can, I'll deal with our guests."

Shasi takes a leisurely stroll back to the cockpit, using the time to smooth any lingering imperfections in her human form. Taking a deep breath, she steps into the now-occupied space. "Ladies, I'm afraid we may be experiencing a slight delay. Our sudden escape has left the Indomitable here in need of repairs. We're going to be setting down on a planet of unknown allegiance so we can get her fixed up. Questions?"

Ashla looks at Shasi, "I guess we should let the others know what's going on. I'm pretty good with a hydrospanner maybe one of the others is too."

[galenbd]

Lashkel gets an interesting comment from the pilot and strolls back looking for the captain to offer her services. She finds everyone gathered in the mess and finds her own seat.

When Shasi turns the floor over, she asks, "Do we have enough food to survive long enough to make repairs?"

Shasi sits down behind the controls and begins setting a course for the nearby planet. "Probably." she says, without turning her head.

Lashkel shakes her head at Shasi, "Probably, hunh? Where are food supplies kept, so I can narrow it down to within a week?"
