Breathing heavily, and suppressing the feeling of guilt as the hellknight's brain matter splurts out onto her hakama, Setsuna turns her attention back to Ironbriar. It sounds like there's another one up the stairs, but we need to deal with the Justice first.

As much as she hates to admit it, in her current state, others are better suited for the fight, and so rather than leading the charge, the tiefling stays beside Red in an effort to keep her at least somewhat shielded as she clears the path for the others, focusing her mind on her conjured grease to erase it from this world.

Even as Butok struggles to recover, Rico hauls back again and slams the rim of her battle-table into the wall right in front of the Hellknight's face, sending dust and woodchips flying. The darkwood shield whooshes again, mere hairsbreadths from tenderizing his nose... and seemingly leaving Rico wide open to a riposte.

And then she growls, "Nobody says that of anybody's family. An' never their mothers."

But beneath her trusty hat's shadow, the orcblood constable grins. That is merely the heavy-handed feint, even as her fist closes upon the serpent-sword's hilt, and sharply pivots, slashing at Butok in a near vertical draw-cut, then lunges in a heavy thrust right at his eyes.

Feeling the wound in his cheek close slightly with Brin's healing powers, Taladron feels more confident that responding to his attacker won't result in too many embarrassing mispronunciations. "I believe this cretin was talking about my Aunt actually." Taladron says as the constable gives the man a resounding smack with her shield, "Though if they had really attacked her in her own shop, there would not be enough left of them to identify."

Glad to have Rico between himself and that bothersome toady, Taladron once more focuses on the corrupt Justice. A wave of his hand brings another glob of acid into existence and it flies through the air towards Ironbriar.
