Simply because I was gone this morning and I had no time yesterday. I was expecting a friend to come over in forty minutes last night, so I still had time to eat and draw. Then I was informed that it would be fifteen minutes. So this was done in under ten minutes.

The first one looks like a nice oasis to me.

Also I like the wombat. It has really fluffy cheeks. Though its back leg looks a little odd.

The watercolors are glorious; I like the way you did the reflections in the lake one, as well as the way the colors bleed in the shark painting.

I have! They're big and pudgy and absolutely adorable. Your drawing does a good job of capturing that, and I particularly like how the fur around the face was done. The ears seem a tad lopsided, though—I think the right ear's a bit larger than the left?

This wasn't from a photo. I just decided to make a scene with a sunset, maybe a few mountains, a forest or two, and a lake.

That's a rather nice scene from your imagination, especially at this stage. I scrap my advice and now say work from a photo and then from real life. You will find such things hell you work from your imagination at later stages, which is often the goal.

Or so has been my experience.

Oh wow, that tree looks really good! And I like the tucan. And yes, the lips are weird...pretty hard to draw mouths though, I understand
