Yes, I'm posting again but it's the chicken's fault. Sorry I haven't really been providing my opinion, but I hope you know I'm watching and my silence isn't because your drawings don't interest me.

I look forward to watching your style progress more!

As for the mouths, I know my drawings of faces are a lot more simplistic and not realistic but I think maybe the lines in the mouths are too much? I think the most recent picture is the best for it.

I don't draw realistically and admit that cartoons are a lot less and the most detailed drawings I do consist of a middle line, small lower lip line and sometimes shading, but when I did/do fully shaded realistic style drawings I had similar problems as well as being unable to make the cupid's bow look good...

Eventually, I drew more heavily lines where the lips met and shaded them out to look shiny but didn't line the outside of the lips and just left them shaded. Like... The rest of the skin was a distinctly different shade but there was no outline. I hope whatever you decide to try and do works very well for you!

Again though, I'm nowhere near as good at drawing, so I might be entirely wrong.

Also, I love your Rainbow Dash and Budgie avatar! Rainbow Dash is my favourite. 「I hope I don't start trouble by saying so. If I do, I'm very sorry.」

I finally found this tumblr-link I've wanted to link you. Had to swim through nearly all my likes. It's a good guide on how to do folds, although the sample pages don't go into detail (but you get the point of what's supposed to be). I'm looking into purchasing the whole book myself at some point this year, seems neat.

That book.... I checked it out from the library; it's really the best drawing book they have. I feel they show a lot of ways you can do things without really explaining how, though.

I've always had a hard time when someone tries to explain me, minus some new techniques I learnt in school, and pictures have always taught me better. I suppose it's a matter of what learning style suits to you, too.

Also, what I'd suggest you'd also practice is using longer strokes and lines, as some of your sketches can look a bit messy because you're using many short strokes. Again, it's something you will learn to be better at over time, but try to aim for long strokes and lines.

The first ones face looks a little off. Maybe the nose?
The dogs body looks slightly large.
The last ones sword hands do not looked posed correctly. That would be a tough way to wield a sword.

Thanks. I find it the easiest part to draw, you just have to follow the way it moves.
