Well, that's where the OCD comes in. They're obsessive with following an exceedingly tedious code that only they have the knowledge to uphold because they were the ones who wrote half of it and pieced the rest together from forgotten lore.

Wolfy is short for the player Wolfbane, or the god that he controls. As far as I can tell due to the power of said god he is rarely on screen.
Remnant is the policing force of Inside, named such because they were once part of an Empire. They have their own thread, which has an OP which might explain things.

Wellll, casting a spell's troublesome because I actually am keeping track of mana, so as to not make them too terribly OP - they each have two green, two black, apiece.

Maybe they get another mana of the color of the spell, or randomly determined if it's both, for the first option?

This kind of thing is why Cyrus just has a few signature spells (Lightning Bolt, Blightning, Hellfire, Corrupt, Terminate) and some broad categories of what he can and can't do instead of trying to keep a defined library straight in my brain.

Well, as noted, that doesn't work so well, like I said. It's not a hard spell-a-round limit or anything, it's how much mana they can burn. (Though, I probably ninja'd you, admittedly.)

Heh, that is a bit easier. My issue with that is that I tend to be a bit... Excessive... when I have a broad category of magic, though, unfortunately. And also that they're supposed to only have access to a couple of things in limited numbers each fight.

Someone please stop me; my Yokai of the Nexus concept is growing out of control. I've already considered separating them into two opposing factions: "Yokai Against Humanity", and "Nexus-Allied Yokai", or YAH and NAY, respectively. I can't stop giggling.
