Well, I certainly could stand to close a couple scenes. I suppose so. But it's not because of you! I haven't been posting the last couple days because I've been sick and exhausted, not because of a total idea-vacuum. If you want, we can still get Private into the real world via Elexxion, but I don't know how much further than that I would go.

To Those Forged by Flames, and Earl of Purple, I have a possible plot idea. I was realizing that Arkhosia's character (Tempest) officially became one of the Forged somewhere in her time stream before being sold to SLAVE. It would make sense for the rest of the guild to go looking for her, assuming there were any clues, or that we could determine she was missing at all.

I would like to reiterate my request for someone to handle that. Watchtower is aware that Greg was Tobias's mole in AMEN, but I think they're aware he's dead... but I'm not sure.

I'm also reminded that nobody has met that orc I sent to Watchtower a while ago. I'll post for him again after the leader meeting is over with, I suppose.

Alright, so some of you may have noticed a bunch of mechanical moles installed themselves in front of AMEN. They've been sent by MERC, in order to observe the entrance. They're designed and positioned to be hard to detect. I'm posting it here to give everyone a chance to raise any concerns and such, and so that it doesn't feel like I'm springing it up out of nowhere when the information they gather is used.

Kharin is currently out the front using large amounts of Chaos Sorcery. Any moles near him are probably going to get fried.

How far out the front? The moles are a distance away from the entrance for that very reason.

I'm not sure exactly. I never specified a distance. Far enough to be outside the range of the Thing in the Walls' influence, but near enough to see it and get back fairly quickly if he needs to.

Then I suppose they're unaffected. Dipsnig knows AMEN, so he wouldn't put the moles close enough for every power-oozing member who walks out to fry them.

I think Alexandrian might have had one of his characters install a minefield, but he's on hiatus again.

Nope! None of my chars installed anything outside of AMEN. However, one of my chars did carpet bomb the area outside of AMEN in a ring. Unless the moles are pretty far away from the base, they probably won't have a very good vantage point.

They won't really be fooling anybody if no mole food is around either, so that's something to consider (not that I imagine anybody is so worried about someone installing surveillance equipment outside of the base that they would comb the land outside of the base anyway, but hey, better safe that sorry, right).

Also, I need to correct the erroneous statement that AMENside is currently uninhabited and undefended. Clarissa's giant lava monster was never slain and it hasn't withdrawn from the area (though it isn't doing anything aside from occupying the area), so any party that attempts to invade AMENside will have to contend with that monster (and probably Clarissa, the creator and controller of the hive mind to which it is linked).

My char did place mines in AMENside. Even if around half was destroyed by Clegg there are still enougth there.They are only around one building.

@ Alexandrien. I think the moles aren't alive. As far as I readed it it's more like the mechanical pinguins Merc had (If I don't mix that). Also your turn in Trog.

MY AMEN char isn't really able to do much against the moles without breaking the fourth wall. So unless they do anything he could take note from, there isn't anything to do. Even if I have to mention my char sometimes lefts via a bike and may be hard to identify.

Taking into account the eldritch nature of the base itself, the devastating nature of the valcano itself, and the destructive tendencies of the members themselves, if anything is alive in close proximity to the base that isn't a member/asset of AMEN, I'd be astounded! If the vegetation around the base miraculously hasn't been uprooted and/or scorched during the AMEN vs WATCH battle (that is, if it even existed in the first place), the moles might be able to blend into the environment closer to AMEN than they would be otherwise. With the devastation that probably resulted from the WATCH-AMEN clash, I'm guessing that the moles probably need binocular-camera-eyes in order to spy on AMEN without being entirely out of place (though I imagine that they'd be located pretty far away from AMEN anyway, so that probably doesn't really matter so much).

Yes, the moles are located far away and equipped with zoomed cameras for eyes. Again, Dipsnig thinks of this kind of thing.

Now that Leo's got a few spirit allies helping him, I think it's time to introduce his Nexus-based skill set; I'm thinking of giving him PSI/PK abilities, a la Earthbound/Mother. Any player/character want to help give his mind a little push to trigger his awakening?

There was also a long plot with AMEN releasing a plague on Riverside and framed for a second wave in Inside (I believe the point was it wasn't actually them the second time), which ended up with AMEN having a small foothold in Riverside, although I don't think anyone posts there much.
NO changed its name to MERC since the anti-slavery policy isn't very neutral.
Magtok and DC butted heads recently, with some explosive results.
GLoG has some more defenses, including teleport-blocks, I believe.
Skyside, lawless airborne city, was launched.
DC-the-player made the Altaran Irregulars its own military Org, which is not actually part of Remnant despite having similar juristiction
Wolfbane's Paladin made Aegis, which is sort of a middle-ground between the smitey Halo and charitable GLoG. The OP says it better than I can.
Alexandrian made KINDER, a large number of kidnapped folks stolen by Clarissa and possibly turned into an evil army at some point.

NO is now MERC, and they're expanding a bit, but otherwise pretty much unchanged. There's KINDER, too, which just started, and is sorta like AMEN for kidnapped people; Alexandrian can give a better run-down.

Other than that, still the same ones. However, AMEN came under the leadership of first Ilpholin and Magtok, then when Reinholdt left, Harley Zorzo; it has, since the first leadership change, invaded Riverside and claimed a chunk of territory there.

You also missed Magtok and several other making a floating city.

(The Nest is still around, sort of, too, if you still have any characters who were doing things with them? (If it matters for if you do, Karyana is no longer a member of HALO or AMEN, since I keep making an idiot of myself anytime I do anything related to either of those...))

MERC is also issuing licenses to unaffiliated adventurers, mercenaries and problem-solves, which give them several benefits in exchange for a cut of their profits. The long-term goal is to monopolize the adventuring business.
