Everyone apparently decided to put their underwear back on after the 'great fun' last night. He's never drawn outright nudity, but naked characters censored by convenient arms, cats, or speech bubbles hasn't been uncommon.

Just stands out as a little odd, that's all.

As someone who often reads the comic at work (especially since that's where I am when the comic updates sometimes), the self-censorship is greatly appreciated. Some of the stuff already is borderline (typically Faye, for whatever reason), but regular outright nudity would restrict my reading of the comic considerably.

I guess I wasn't clear enough. Stuff like covering up via bubbles/arms/cats (which was hilarious) wasn't part of what I considered a 'prude streak'...that's just sensible censorship for stuff like keeping his ad revenue, like you mentioned. But every so often he does something weird like the morning-after underwear...and then 2 comics later, we have an almost-nude Cosette.

I have to admit Cosette's reaction is better than I thought it would be. I thought Jeph would be capable of of having his character be all "Oh my god, you man-pig, how can you sleep with her and not know her name. You make me sick!"

Well, healthy as in "not terribly underfed". Even though Marigold's diet may not be the most balanced she should easily be able to go ten hours without eating or drinking.

I never noticed myself getting anxiety acne or anything like that but maybe that's because I get terribly anxious on an almost daily basis and wouldn't notice the difference...

Curses, I would have asked where she got it from
But I guess while Marigold is quite stereotypical it's not an entirely uncommon type of person. (Then again, I can't recall anyone who really fits her from my experience.)
