You see Faye's Angry Face, and are whole being is pierced with terror.

Fortitude Save: If you fail the fortitude save your body is turned to ash (as if effected by the spell disintegrate) caused by your body feeling the raw anger caused by this demonic essence.

If you pass your Fortitude Save

Will Save: If you succeed on your forititude save your body survives the mere prescence of Faye.

You know must make a will save, if you fail the will save you are frightened as the spell Fear. This lasts for a number of rounds equal to the caster of Faye's Angry Face.

A frightened creature flees from the source of its fear as best it can. If unable to flee, it may fight. A frightened creature takes a -2 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. A frightened creature can use special abilities, including spells, to flee; indeed, the creature must use such means if they are the only way to escape.

Frightened is like shaken, except that the creature must flee if possible. Panicked is a more extreme state of fear.

Will Save Succeed: You are still affected by the shaken condition even if you past your will save.

A shaken character takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

Shaken is a less severe state of fear than frightened or panicked.

Sven probably isn't trying to score with as many ladies these days and he probably equates that with being 'IN LURV!!!' Nothing says deep emotional commitment like decreased libido.

Part of that could be if she could wirelessly access the Internet; but how does she think she's going to get out of Steve's apartment? Jump up and turn the doorknob? The way Jeph treats his characters sometime sh should be able to take some punishment himself Though, I am mostly fine with his writing. But this time the non-sequitor is quite poorly placed.

Even Pintsize often cannot tell a robot's gender. Elves usually look mostly androgynous to me. How can you tell that CEREA-L is a 'she'??

She's wearing calf high boots and a skirt while showing lots of skin in-between. Male elves wear pants and flash less bare flesh, as a rule of thumb. so unless the CEREA-L (good catch) elf was designed to be unisex, I'd assume she's a flat-chested she.

Besides which, panel three makes her look like Yotsuba wearing a hat.

Well, I liked the past update. In fact, it's the little brief glimpses of weirdness of the QCverse that gives this comic quite a lot of its charm for me.

Penelope and her rants and inability to accept people with differing opinions pissed me off. It's okay to be opinionated but she's so combative about them XD

On another note, this Sven storyline has been incoming for... well a long time, realworldwise. And he's shown little glimpses of Sven's goings ons pretty frequently during that time. If he doesn't have something big planned for it I'll be surprised.

Exactly. He has never had a real relationship, all he knows is, he is in love, and love is supposed to win out right? On the other hand, now this could get bad. She rejected him pretty damn harshly (justifiably, but still pretty harsh) and love spurned can get into some pretty bad places. She doesnt have a bunny to boil, but she does have a relationship he might try to wreck out of spite.
