Greatest Ever
No offense to Order of the Stick, but after seeing 20 I just had to register, and jump in here and say this.
This comic is the best thing I have ever read, I love it so much and it is now going to be close to my heart forever no matter where it goes. The jokes are outstanding, and when there really isn't a joke I am still kept very interested, the art is beautiful, the artist who thought to put her face and his right side by side in 20, brilliant. Basically this is me praising the creators of this comic.
You are my Chrono Trigger of webcomics!

Re: Greatest Ever
I have to agree. If I had to rank comics right now, based on how interested I am in them I would rank them as such:
#1 Erfworld
#2 Dr. McNinja
#3 Order of the Stick
and a distant last place: Sluggy Freelance
Proud idiotic Erfworld fan.

Re: Greatest Ever
I have to admit, this strip has consistently brought the funny. I'm certainly glad that Rich split the site with Erfworld, because otherwise I wouldn't have found it.

Re: Greatest Ever
I've been lurking on this site for over a year, and I have to agree: No offense to OotS, (which I still thoroughly enjoy and will continue to do so) but Erfworld is amazing. I am in love with the artwork, (how in the HELL do you get a cartoon evil sorcereress chick to look so damn hot?) and the plot has me captured. The only thing that could make it better is that OotS and Erfworld are updated on alternating days so that I get a taste of comic goodness every day and not just every other day. (I think that's what is being attempted, but it seems like there's a slip every once in a while...which isn't a problem really. I love 'em whenever they come out.)
Keep up the good work folks. You have me hooked. (Heck, I read the hamster comic too now.)

I think this comic is great. Strangely enough, neither of my friends who read OotS do, but screw them."We have become like unto tiny refreshing GODS!"

Re: Greatest Ever
I love it too, but I'm waiting for one thing. When's the cast page going to change to show Parson?

Re: Greatest Ever
I had the same enthusiasm from day one, it really looked as one of the best things I had ever seen, although I was a bit afraid on how the story would develop. Now I'm hooked by the concepts and by the plot. I have a few friends who don't like comics that much but they come here often to "steal" the blowups. By the way, a lot of them loved the peep and were truly sad to see him die. I have yet to tell them that Rob calls them "flying units" and that he has hinted that there will be a slaughter of those things in the coming battle.

Re: Greatest Ever
I actually came to these forums for the first time, just to make sure someone had started a thread like this. Erfworld is love.

Re: Greatest Ever
OK, I don't exactly want to jump on the bandwagon... don't get me wrong, I love Erfworld. I liked it a lot at the start, and it has been high in my list of "comics I keep checking even though I know they won't update yet" ever since *plot*, and I joined the forum to talk about Erfworld. It ROCKS, and it has a fresh taste that none of my other webcomics (and my list is long!) provide. However, I gotta say this thread is a bit too wanky even for me it just invites flamers for one thing.
Hee hee, "flamer" is funnier if you are canadian because of the slang double meaning."River" cancels eat: Food is problematic.

Re: Greatest Ever
Although I liked Erfworld from the start, I wasn't always sure *why* - I often found myself puzzled by the situations and the not-quite-jokes. (Never the characters, though - their appeal is universal!) However, after twenty strips, those who needed it (e.g. me) have had time to adjust to the style of storytelling and humour. Accordingly, I now have to say: Erfworld has really come into its own. I feel like I've been drawn into the ambience of the storytelling, and that I am beginning to see the quality of this clever, wry webcomic. I greatly look forward to Wednesday and Friday mornings (when it is updated in my time zone) to see what happens next. Kudos to the authors!

Re: Greatest Ever
Miko, Xykon, and Redcloak aren't members of the Order of the Stick. Parson is a rather important member of the cast and his story should be on the cast page somewhere even if he is not a "unit" and therefore doesn't get teh same stat block. But no rush, I would rather the time be spent making more comics.

Re: Greatest Ever
*sniff sniff*
My thread is all grown up and made into a bandwagon, I wonder if it will make it to the sticky years though.
Heh, I can't believe I actually got the artist's and the writer's attention. Hey guy and gal!
Strangely enough, or maybe not so strangely enough this has really encouraged me to start playing Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic again.

No gals here. Rob and Jami are both males. (Or so I've been led to believe, anyway, having met them both in person. If not, well, I'm impressed by their cross-dressing skills.)

Re: Greatest Ever
I love Erfworld as well, the part with "I AM A TOOL!" was just so awesome!
For me, OOTS and Erfworld are on the same page. Both make me laugh, Erfworld has the more interesting artwork, OOTS has the (so far) more interesting plotline and charachters.

I am quite certain Jamie is a guy. For no reason other than his own words.
Rob, I'm not sure though. His name sounds so feminine. I mean, Rob. Come on.
