There, there. We all experienced that before.

(12 kills in my Hellcat, and I ran out of ammo, resulting in a loss anyway.)

It has been in use for quite some time on the SEA/ASIA server, usually by the anime-following section of the population.

I'm not exactly sure what it was derived from, though it's probably an euphemism for "vegetables". (Other names that were in use in various times were "window lickers", "SEA of red" and "bots".)

As far as I'm aware, "Potatoing" is when you die for minimal effect, usually early in the game.

A bad team is usually a team of tomatoes, not potatoes. (Tomatoes because they're red in XVM).

Though if your whole team goes full potato then they're probably tomatoes as well.

Fed some free exp to unlock turret for Chi-Nu, and since it didn't seem to be enough new tracks as well. I'm not really noticing performance boost, so it seems I'll need to spent some more towards new gun so I can actually enjoy it.

Edit: and to top it, I'm spending most of my games with Chi-Nu in tier 5. It's just that heavy tanks at that tier are hard to penetrate, and meds with 105mm howitzer just kill me. And TD's are just huge menace overall.

Considering that MCerberus plays on the Xbox version, I'm surprised that he doesn't make those sort of posts more often.

I thought it might have been something culturally motivated (anti-East European/Russian), but if it's in the SEA server as well, I guess it's a random insult that just spread.

I think I'm starting to finally get the hang of light tanks as I managed 1300hp spotting damage with a Covenator on the map with the magic wood (Edit: Murovanka) by heading up to the hill and just playing peek-a-boo over the hill crest the whole game.

Trying to get back into WoT. Took all of three matches in my SU-152 to unlock the ISU.

Good god, this thing is going to be painful to grind to the BL-10. The derpcannon is great on a tier six, but riding it all the way to tier eight is getting a little silly when tier-10 matches are commonplace. The engine alone is 28k xp.

For the first time I'm seriously considering plopping down $50 just to convert free xp.

On the other hand of the equation, the Pz I C. is an amazingly fun tank. Bad game, lost a few credits? Rocket around in this little guy and decimate low-armor targets!

At least you can still reliably hurt things with the derp, assuming you'e spamming HE in it.

(And consider HEAT. It's not that expensive so long you use them sparingly.)

I had some good success with the D-25 175mm, the RoF is that guns power, just need to be careful of what you pick on. On a related note I've found I often do very well in my Jpanther2 despite still only having the 105mm ~ T9 game tonight ended with Confederate award and 3rd for damage and 2nd for exp. 2 kills and approx 2700 damage done.

The 1c is a absolute hoot to drive, its very hard to have a terrible game in even if all you manage in a T5 match is to run rings around tanks and hand out coolheaded awards.

Just bought my T-44 and good lord, stock is slow and I'm 20k exp away from the new turret so I can use the 100mm gun and up my penetration from 145mm to 175mm. I'm .02% win rate away from 49% (after now paying attention after 5k games) and I'm also considering droping some coin to covert my free xp. Not that I can't win in the T-44 anyway but damn its horrible stock.
I''ll stop now as I'm getting an itch in that black hole I call a conscious

Usually 3500 in the first 3 minutes is enough to carry a game (considering that it's usually in the cleanup where you pad the stat). One of the benefits is that it's really easy to beast mode if your team does... anything. I've got... let's check it 52 top guns.

This team though. AND DEFENDING. How do you screw that up?

Spoilering bragpoasts defeats the object of making them.

Besides which, 1020px is actually pretty small for most of the internet these days. If having a horizontal scrollbar offends you too much, hide the sidebar. If you still haven't got enough screen realestate then stop using a netbook.

Please. It's in the forum rules. Not everyone uses a current, high-end gaming machine for browsing an Internet forum.

    Indeed.

And if GloatingSwine refuses to do something, we should just hurry up and get this thread to page 3.

The Borsig is a fun little tank! The stock gun is frankly way better than the 155, but either way, it's surprisingly fast for a tank with just 10HpT.

15cm is quite good for the shock factor, and can be surprisingly effective at holding down an area. The low-ish penetration doesn't quite matter at tier 8 as it does in tier 10.

Yeah, that's probably true, but I tend to prefer DPM and reliability over alpha - I can't shake the feeling that if I wanted shock, I'd go for the ISU-152. Still, either way, I'll have to unlock the 155 before I get up to the WafflePz.4. Maybe I'll discover it's amazing when I get it, but from the stats, it looks pretty appalling compared to the 128.

Edit: Random capitalisation because doing German exercises means I keep capitalising nouns

So I realize that, being an Xbox user, I am late to the game on this, but is there a way to play with your friends? There doesn't seem to be a matchmaking lobby or anything of that sort; rather, it seems entirely random which game you're placed into.

There should be a platoon function. It's the only way to play with friends, outside Team Company battles and Clan Wars.
