I think he was kidnapped by Kore (who saw him as evil, like everyone Kore meets). Now Minmax and the goblins have to rescue him.

Nah, he just went on vacation. Unfortunately he let Scott Ramsoomair book the flight for him and he is currently stranded on an island. The good news is the island is more or less a tropical paradise. The bad? No internet.

I keep hearing this, but I don't remember anyone saying that no-one was in the hospital. This is what WearsHats quoted on the Goblins forum:

Also, if Thunt decided to stop working on the comic altogether, I can't imagine why Danielle would specifically say he was going to get back to work on it. Now that I think about it, "the dust finishes settling" kind of implies a one-time event that takes awhile to resolve, like a lawsuit, rather than a continuing problem like sickness. I'm probably reading too much into her wording, though.

Anyway, I hope Thunt and his family are okay, and I hope everything goes back to normal soon.

Maybe they got lost in a sandstorm that has been going on for weeks.

Or maybe one of them was dusting, but found a spot that hadn't been dusted in centuries, causing a huge unending dust cloud to get kicked up, and he can't work on the comic because the dust will clog his computer's intake fans!

That would explain the "dust settling" phrase, at least. Even though it really doesn't.

Or maybe thunt blew his cover in the witness protection program, and now has to move to a safehouse where he will be able to continue updating the comic in secret.

Maybe that's it. That would explain the almost identical webcomic starring misunderstood Imps created by a "K.Nock" that seemed to pop up recently and in the middle of a random fight between two Duegar. I can't believe what Cõr did to Pregaf.

Eh, probably a coincidence. Imps: The World In Their Point of View is still worth a read, though.

A blog explaining what's happened with me will be posted tomorrow sometime and I'll be returning to work on Goblins.
Do we start taking bets on whether the post in question actually goes up tomorrow?

    You should specify a timezone.

    5 pm GMT? Over
    5 pm EDT? Over.
5 pm PDT? Hmm... yeah I'll go with over here too

So ... ok maybe you don't need timezone after all.

But let's go with 5PM Thunt Local Time, whatever that is.A week from tomorrow.

Thunt Local Time is PDT, GMT -7, or EDT -3. I vote under 5pm by that metric.

    d) some people complain it doesn't work for them.

Also, why even bother having a part of the site dedicated to a blog/news when you don't post stuff of such importance there? Why not replace it entirely with a huge box for a twitter feed?

It's a one-sentence announcement saying that there will be an announcement. If you miss it, you'll still see the blog post, you just won't spend a day anticipating it (until you see it on this thread). Twitter seems like a fine platform for making that announcement.

If your forum location is accurate and up to date, your time zone is GMT +1 (and in summer time, GMT +2), not GMT -3.

EDT, EST, and PDT correspond to American time zones.
