My first name is hidden (poorly) in the name of one of my characters, too. Quite an old character, doesn't get much screentime, but also one I'd imagine most people are familiar with- or at least, one of his greatest achievements.

Plus there's every time somebody mentions Asperger's Syndrome, everyone with it pops up to say hi... Hi!

Back in the Alek days, there were only a few threads - HALO, GLoG, AMEN, and Taverna Generica. In those threads, there were about 5-7 active Alex-name PCs. So it was much more of a per-capita Alex surplus than there is today with Aces and Toms and Alices. When I remember the first time Magtok arrived at GLoG to formally request a rivalry, it amazes me how big the Nexus has gotten since then.

I will admit though I am curious at what Arkant wants. He already mindscrewed Celica so she would give up the hero-ing and never come back instead of getting her name out of her when he could. He clearly succeeded, so why's he curious about it now?

@Recaiden, Arkhosia, and Magtok: Alright, I suppose we have something of a conundrum now. When we started the "Going into labor" scene, it had appeared as if the Ashna/Magtok/Dipsnig/Jezzy scene was pretty much dead and after a month I wasn't going to ask Ark to keep waiting a second time as it wouldn't have been fair. However, I had been under the impression that perhaps Dipsnig/MERC would accept the mission and if need be, someone could be added retroactively to the birth scene if Ark didn't mind.

After talking to Morty though, he's told me there's very little chance MERC would accept the mission simply because of the possible relation to an Apocalypse.

So...well, I don't know how to handle the issue now and wanted to get your opinions. Especially since I know that Ark and MadHatter have something they want to start as well. I just don't believe it'd be appropriate to pause the scene for another month which is why I've brought this to OOC.

I guess I am running this then. And there are three things that make me think LordDeathKeeper should take it.

Arkhosia has already got a scene with me right now in Riverside.
I do not know Fallout and will have to pretend I do from reviews online so it is better to take the person who does not know it either.
And even though it was in character, I still do not feel good about dropping LordDeathKeeper's character out of the scene. In Skyside! This would be a good way to make it up to him.

I admit that I was rather confused as to what was going on with that scene, with you still making comments to Iggy in the same round Third said that no one was around him, and yeah, I was a bit confuzzled and dropped, but you don't have to think that it's your fault.

Although for the record, it's entirely possible that I've played more Fallout than Ark, considering I have no idea if he's played 1 & 2 like I have. Not many people dug those up until Good Old Games, etc put them on sale.
