[Philemonite]

You are surprised that all four instructors are present, considering that this mission is only for your team. However, it becomes quite clear once you realize that none of the instructors is going to follow you. Alexandra gives you a semi-explanation, but it all comes down to one thing, clear all the shadows. You don't really need anything else, after all, this is a simple extermination mission. At least it promises to be fun, if you are to trust Alexandra's words. Before you leave Alexandra checks if you have the coordinates of the headquarters, just in case you need it.

When Alexandra finishes double checking their coordinates Damian gives a thumbs up and moves through the Velvet Door first. After coming out on the other side he takes a quick look around to make sure there weren't any shadows around to jump them near the entrance. Should the coast be clear Damian would wait for the rest of his team to step through the door. He was a little bummed that Brianna wasn't part of his team but he would just have to suck it up and get to know the people on this team as well.

The Velvet World is particularly inviting today, the creepy noises in the distance assure you that this is going to be fun. Before you have a chance to actually observe your surroundings you are greeted by a cheerful message from the other side.
"You guys are so lucky, you already have company. It's gonna take them a few moments to get there, so you have enough time to pull out those big weapons of yours, so that you can grind them into fine dust."

[Mokou-tan]

Tsubaki downed the energy drink she'd brought with her and tossed the can to the side. "So, they're coming to me? Good, I was afraid I'd have to hunt them down." A smile forms as she extends her right arm.
Are you ready, Setan- Cu Chulainn?
I shall lend you my Gae Bolg, little hero.
The little warrior girl closed her eyes and inhaled deeply as she manifested. "This is my path." The scarlet naginata formed in her hand, this was her weapon. Thank you, Cu Chulainn.

"So, they're coming to me? Good, I was afraid I'd have to hunt them down."

"Sweetie, you never have to worry about that, there is always something in the Velvet World that wants to kill you. I remember this one time at band camp we were on clean up duty and we had five groups of shadows to deal with, each one more stronger. It was so annoying. By the time the sixth group was located we were so tired to go after them. It was so nice of them to come to us so we can annihilate them.... Anyway, they are here, I'll try to analyze them and tell you what you are dealing with."

Four Shadows emerge from the darkness, but they are still too far to identify.

As the Shadows approach you notice that there are a few more then you expected, and some of them are quite large. Fortunately, you are not alone, and two figures emerge from the darkness.
"You really shouldn't be here without backup. I am Halden, the Blue Knight and this is Selene, the Green Knight. We will take care of the big ones, you take the small ones."
Before you have a chance to react they rush towards the big Shadows, letting the small Shadows pass towards you.

Tsubaki giggles as the two newcomers go after the big ones. "Looks like I've got some new friends on the battlefield." She twirls her polearm and slams the butt into the ground. "It's time to blossom!"

According to the sheet, Tsubaki has Tarukaja on her Bishamonten Aspect, so she'll be using that this turn. Power up and strike hard is her strategy here.

Damian was shocked at the two knights that came to their aid with the big shadow's. They still had quite a few to deal with but Damian felt that they could take it. Nodding firmly he materialized his spirit gauntlets and slammed his fists together.

"Alright then let's pound 'em into the ground Hercules! Tarukaja! Damian's persona's silhouette showed itself as it seemed to flex, building Damain's physical power. Feeling the rush he looked over at Tsubaki. "Alright then Tsubaki, lets try to watch each other's backs out here. If you need some help don't be afraid to ask for it."

Tsubaki feels her movements slow from the Magician's spell. She laughs as she charges at them. "My turn!" Silhouetted by her Persona, she strikes with the butt of her naginata.

Miyuki looked at the Shadows, wringing her hands nervously.

I wish I were back home...

As Tsubaki charged past her into the fray, she sighed and grasped the staff that had materialized in her hand. What she wished for wasn't what was important now.

"I-I'll cover you, Tsubaki," she muttered, as her Persona's silhouette rose up behind her in a haze of fumes. "Come, Pythia!"

She twirled her staff and pointed it squarely at Strength, as Pythia blew out a plume of the vapors surrounding it.

Damian clenched his fists as he saw the enemy play it smart, and get in some damage of their own. Knowing that they needed to take out the shadow's support he ran towards the Priestess. After all if videogames taught him anything it was to take out the healer first. His velvet card materializing in front of him Damian lashed out and punched through it to physically summon his persona.

"Come forth Hercules! Assault dive!" With that his persona flew forward to bodily collide with the Priestess.

Kyoko crouched into a defensive stance as the shadows approached them, the instructors really expected them to fight? She stayed back, close to the other new girl, and glanced at her velvet card. A flicker of doubt passed through her as she wondered whether they'd got the wrong person, but at the edge of hearing she heard a voice calling. Kyoko reached out and crushed her velvet card.

"PERSONA!"

She felt a wave of calm was over her as the impossibly slender figure appeared behind her, and she turned her focus to the battle.

Tsubaki notices how the others use their Personae is different than her own method. Am I doing it wrong? No matter, what I'm doing works. She takes a wide sweeping strike at the Magician again, more wearing Cu Chulainn rather than sending him at her opponent. You need to go down, I can't protect anyone from an attack like that last one.

Kyoko's relief was short lived, as she watched the shadow Damien was attacking cast a spell undoing much of the damage her persona had dealt. Perhaps that one was leading the group? Kyoko turned her attention to it, hoping to disrupt the shadows.

Miyuki breathed a sigh of relief. Her Persona was having an effect, so all that was left to do was to keep pressing on.

"Alright... I can do this. We can do this," she mumbled to herself, as she tightly gripped her staff. "I am thou...!"

Pythia raised her arms, and a haze seeped up from the ground near Strength.

Damain grit his teeth in frustration and let out a growl to let the shadow know how much the Media spell annoyed him. Not that the Maragi spell from the Magician wasn't annoying too. No actually that was more painful than annoying but Damian knew the damage could have been much worse. Seeing one of his teammates summon their persona and looking like they were aiming for the Priestess, Damian nodded himself as he ran forward. Once the Garu spell hit Damian would move in for the follow-up, punching the shadow in the face as hard as he could.

"For a team that was assembled in a hurry you are quite coordinated. I believe that's Alexander's crush course in combat tactics?"
Distracted by your own battle, you don't even notice that the two knights have defeated their targets.
"Selene, please finish of this shadows. We need to get going."
With a swift wave of her hand (and the help of her persona) Selene creates a wind storm to dissipate all the shadows.
"Thank you. Now, we are in a hurry, but we always have time for a proper introduction. I am Halden, the Blue Knight, the unofficial leader of the Rainbow Knights. It is always a pleasure to meet Alexander's squires."

Tsubaki smiles to the knights, understanding the difference in power between themselves and her.
"I am Tsubaki, schoolgirl." Her words were an obvious mimicry of his introduction, though it was from her inexperience with people and not mockery.

Damian is a bit surprised at the fact that the knights finished their fight and was even more so when they wiped away the shadows they had been fighting with a wave of their hands. Damian looked in awe, before looking down at his own fist and clenching it. So they still had a long way to go huh? He felt as though he hadn't put up a very good showing. That things might have been a lot harder if those knights hadn't interferred. He hated that, mostly because it meant that he was still too weak to actually protect anyone. His dislike of the situation lied not with the knights who had saved them, but with himself. Shaking his head to rid it of such thoughts for now he turned towards their mysterious saviors.

"Thank you for your assistance. My name is Damian Rosier. It's nice to meet ya."

"Ueda Kyoko, pleased to meet you, " she replied automatically. The battle had set her senses on edge, and she took a moment to cool down and get her bearings.

Apparently they'd been saved by these knights; a single attack had blown away all the shadows. That would either mean they were much stronger than Kyoko's team, or she'd been doing something wrong in the fight. It was still hard to believe it was real, even though she'd summoned her persona. Perhaps this dark area was one of those 3d cinemas they had at theme parks or something? The costumes the knights were wearing would certainly fit with actors, but she could think of no reason for the school to be doing something like this. Still, she had to ask, even if it was embarrassing.
