I figured this would be the last chance to do this without the temptation of cheating via the search function.

So, do you remember?

I'm not sure, but I think my first post was a comment on the OOTS comic, something along the lines of "Awesome!

"
Followed by feeling super smart when correcting people on stuff concerning the levels of the OOTS and on how to calculate the CR for an encounter.
Of course, I was wrong in both instances.

Yep. It was a clipped and direct refutation in a rules debate. I spoke with as much brevity and directness as possible. Someone made a snide comment and I rolled my eyes, left a page number, and never went back

It took a long time before I joined the playground 'proper'.

I believe my first post was to step up as a dm for the Pirates of the Aether game I ran for about a year.

Shortly after that, I wandered into friendly banter. My wife has missed me since.

I thought the question was do YOU remember, not "Does Google have it stored and indexed forever so that it can be used to embarrass me at a later time?"

I believe I posted some random and banal question regarding what different characters from the comic would be doing in a waiting room of the dead, in the OotS forum. Sad to say, I've only gone downhill since.

My first post in the forums was in the OoTS forums posting about how excited I was that I'd managed to decode what Haley was saying. I got pointed to the actual thread, got very embarrassed, and disappeared.

After that, in Jan 07, the second post was in Town, and it was me doing a very mary sue bit of setting up my half-drow Castaras to attack the Temple of Inari.

It was an entrance, I guess.

Mine was a post in Kiss or Kill. I don't remember the specifics though.

I spent a lot of time lurking before doing even that, then was a Ghost in the Playground while I lurked s'more and messed around on Silly Message Board Games.

As for myself: No friggin clue. I thiiiiink it might have been in the actual introductions section, followed by asking for some mechanical advice for a Rogue/Scout/Swordsage I was attempting to build. (3.5 basically exists, in my mind, for putting together overly complex builds.

I think I was asking for advice on how to handle a difficult party in the Roleplaying games section. I think once that was dealt with I then took a fairly long leave of absence and returned in about 2009-10 asking for advice on how to handle a difficult player. Plus ça change...

Although actually since that was sorted out I've mostly stuck to Friendly Banter and specific game threads and have only recently started poking my nose back in the other discussion fora again.

I think it was in a "The OOTS Movie" thread -- what would an OOTS movie be like if it existed. I posted a lot in it and even made another thread to actually practically script and animate (crappily, of course) a short OOTS film -- until The Giant posted saying that he didn't want any movies based off of his comic, especially unlicensed ones.
