Rorick offered quietly and quickly with a very level, reasonable tone of voice, keeping most of his attention on the one who was asking for the blood sample so as to wait for a reply, fiddling with the handle of his belt knife with one hand.

The Half red seems honest enough, though prickly.
He smiles reluctantly.
You guys are all just kids, aren'cha.
Well, I suppose it doesn't have to be all hush hush.
I just need the samples to verify the bloodline, and as the focus for the teleportation ritual.

"Fine Enough." Rorick said with a nod. "Though I too am not certain of blood relative status." With that he drew the belt knife and gave his finger enough of a poke to draw just a little droplet of blood, offering it to the Oger. Once his sample is taken he would take a kerchief and clean it before passing it around to the others to do similar.

Fuegan clenched his left hand into a fist, drawing blood from his palm with his claws.

Morwenna takes the knife being offered around in order to give the guy a drop of blood from her fingertip, e%pertly NOT chopping off anything important. "Oww..."

Pedro bites his lip. "Uh... there may be a slight problem with that... like the fact that I don't have any blood. I don't actually need any, most of the time. What do you want me to do?"

Dusan draws a small knife from his belt, pricking his palm and letting some blood drip on the indicated surface. "Brings back memories. Haven't done this since my first Oath."

A three and a half claw slits it's way through his white glove, gleaming dully in what little light there is, the shine following it's curve almost like a tiny spark.

"But I'm so excited! We're gonna see a ghost and maybe get treasure!" She does try to settle down a little bit, although she's still fidgeting about.

"True, but then, I was certain you had enough ectoplasm in your life." Dusan watches the remainder of the ritual with interest. It wasn't every day you got an inside look at the security of an elder dragons lair.

The suit clad gentlemen takes them with a nod and carelessly lets them slip through his fingers.
Perfectly formed indentations form in the stone floor as they tumble downwards, so slowly you'd almost think they'd been there all along.
The scales rattle into place, fitting in the holes as though they were the mold in which they were formed.

The man says, impatiently pushing at the wall, his talons scoring white marks along the stone.

The wall shrugs petulantly and melts away with a gust of melancholy and lilac.
Somewhere, a small bell tinkles.
The sound jangles off into the distance, flitting this way and that like a sprite, bouncing off the piles of gold, jewels, Ming vases and 18th century furniture that are tastefully arranged around the intimate space.
Several ferns meet over your head, and a bit above them, a chandelier modeled after the kraken glitters with aquamarine jewels on each of its 8 arms.
Anyone home?
Your escort calls out, ducking under the ferns.

A rather soft voice, but one with a sharp edge, like a keen knife in a velvet sheath drifts down from somewhere about the upstairs region.

Whisp takes one look at the artworks, and promptly clasps his hands behind him... then after a moment in front of him instead. His vestigial winghands also twitch into a tightness.

"Aieee!! Everything is so shiny! I haven't seen this much treasure since... ever! Even when I got lost on the Elemental Plane of Earth and I stumbled into this thingy and there were lots of elementals and they- I'm still meant to be quiet, aren't I?"

"Yes, you are." Rorick says it calmly but firmly, and doesn't speak any further then that for now. Instead he was watching the events unfolding, curious as to were this awas going to go at long last.

"I... I expected something a little different." Dusan takes in the room with more then a little surprise. It didn't really look all that Draconic.

Fuegan's eyes widen as he looks at the treasures before him, the light of greed in his eyes.

Your escort sighs and steps forward.

A breathy gust of air echoes around the chamber.

"Well that's less formal then I imagined. My father is Ulhamangkar, a bronze dragon sworn to the service of Bahamut. My mother is a nymph that goes by Nyoimaer of the Nuadubinn, a member of one of the West's Seasonal Courts." Yeah. Totally not related.

Pedro responds next, gruffly and a little boredly. "My father was a gold dragon known as Gura, or Flame to humans. My mother was the sorceress Katerin Diablo, called Ka'Kitaki by the dragons."

"My dad's called Vortigern and he's a huge, powerful Copper dragon! Entire arrows bounce off him and he can turn lead into gold! My mum's- Well, I have two! Like, not at the same time, but the woman who gave birth to me I don't know much about. Apparently she was an elf woman called... Anastrianna, I think. Dad gets sad when he talks about her so I never asked much."

"My mother is Sherril, whose maternal grand-mother is Varnesceto the silver Dragon. My father is Fraasitindbaosiwhe, called Tornado. I am Whisp, and I was a better flier at twelve years old than most half-dragons ever are at any time in their life. I make no particular claim to be a relative although I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised!" he says, allowing his minor boast to stand in place of explicitly stating his father's race.
