It can be recharged with not too much trouble and expense. totally worth free meatballs.

"Must have been quite a hit. Thanks for distracting that thing. Let's get the tooth back in place?"

"Right," Geneva says with a nod. She picks up the tooth off the ground next to her, checks again to make sure that it doesn't have any more BBQ sauce on it, and then shoves it into the empty socket on the statue!

With a suitably ominous grinding sound the door slowly slides open...

There comes a loud clunk of stone locking into place as a hallway is revealed.

Pairs of torches begin lighting on either side of the hall.

This is a pretty nice place, actually. Automatic torch lightning.
Cleo carefully heads inside, and goes to pick a torch off the wall, if that wouldn't be destructive.

The torches are, unfortunately, simply stone cups on the wall with oil in them that got ignited by a spark. There isn't any wooden torch to remove, unfortunately.

As our heroes head inside they'll probably notice that between each pair of torches there's a little alcove in the wall. And sitting in each alcove? Is a bottle of digestive aid medicine. Stuff for treating heartburn. Stuff for dealing with constipation. Stuff for dealing with ulcers. Stuff for dealing with gas...

Oh!

There's a bottle of enzyme supplements to allow a human to easily digest dairy!

Geneva points out said bottle.

"I think that's the one we want."

Hopefully the temple doesn't start collapsing or something when the bottle is picked up.

"There we go. Not so bad."

Cleo reaches out to take the bottle, instead of a torch.

"But we still have those demons to find and deal with."

[Rebonack]

[Lactase Quest!]

"Assuming we want to do that part of the quest," Geneva points out. "That was only a secondary objective. We could just head back to the City now and I'll treat you to my favorite ice cream place."

Her friend was already nearly killed by a stone golem.

Geneva doesn't want to have to fight a bunch of unknown monsters with unknown abilities if she can avoid it.
