Circle of Assassins XIV: Munchkin 1- The Experiment!

A number of adventurers stand before the gates of the Rumblestarsearchinium Fortress of Non-Domestic Harassment. They are currently weak-willed, shaky-kneed nobodies looking for fortune, fame, and perhaps a new class and race.

Describe yourselves, mortals!!

Everyone starts out as Human Adventurers. You can choose your sex (male, female, or neither), personality, and a peasant occupation (farmer, blacksmith, jester, professional barstool warmer... etc.). Oh, and a name.

Your weapons and armor will be randomly given to you as the game is played, as well as other items. You can normally only hold 2 small weapons (or 1 large weapon), as well as wear only 1 armor, 1 footgear, and 1 headgear. You may only carry 2 items in your backpack. All other items must be discarded to make room. (I only own the basic set. So I need all the options I can get. )

Also, everyone will receive their own QuickTopic, and a Spoiler (to show everyone what nifty gear you are wearing ).

Please send in two, yes two!, secrets for your character. List one as the Primary.

For every player, I will add one monster to the game. This is not to be a short game, as the typical CoA. For each Monster defeated, you will receive the number of Treasures on the card for defeating the monster, as well as going up in Level. For joint-kills, the treasure will be divided evenly among those who killed it, rounding up. (Two players kill a monster with two treasure, you both get one. Two players kill a monster with three treasures, you both get two.) This is not based on level, nor bonuses. You do not have to be a level 20 Adventurer to kill the Plutonium Dragon.

Also, at the beginning of each day, all surviving players will receive a minimum of one Kick Down the Door card. For each level, you will gain an additional KDtD card. These will consist of a number of Cheats, Curses, Monsters, Race, or Class cards.

Mostly the cards will be for narrative purposes. But I'm thinking of using some for in-game consequences.

Cheat!- With this Cheat, you can now hold or wear an item you normally wouldn't be able to.

Divine Intervention- This cheat is automatically played when drawn, and is the reason for the second secret. All the old secrets are revealed, and the second set is now in play. Essentially, the game starts anew.

Half-Breed- You can now be two Races! If you only have one Race card, you are a Half-_____.

Help Me Out Here!- You can steal one known item from any other player.

Illusion- One of the listed Monsters changes to another monster from your hand for the next day.

Mate- The Monster you attack calls in another of its species. You, and anyone who helped kill it, gain double the treasure, that day.

Out to Lunch- Play this card to completely remove a monster from the game, for the next day.

Super Munchkin- You can now be two Classes! If you only have one Class card, you are now a Super _____!

Spoiler: Curse Cards

Change Class- You lose your current Class (if you have two classes, choose one to discard). You then become the next Class that is drawn from the Deck. If you are a basic adventurer, this Curse has no effect.

Change Race- You lose your current Race (if you have two races, choose one to discard). You then become the next Race that is drawn from the Deck. If you are a human, this Curse has no effect.

Change Sex- You are now the opposite gender!

Chicken on your Head- You have a chicken on your head.

Duck of Doom- "You should know better than to pick up a duck in a dungeon. Lose 2 levels."

Income Tax- Discard an item of your choice. All remaining players must discard an item or items totalling the value of the item you discarded. If they can't the must discard all items, and lose a level.

Lose a Level- Lose a level.

Lose 1 Big Item- Discard one item with the word 'Big' in the descriptor.

Lose 1 Small Item- Discard one item without the word 'Big' in the descriptor.

Lose the Armor You Are Wearing- Discard the Armor you are wearing.

Lose the Footgear You Are Wearing- Discard the Footgear you are wearing.

Lose the Headgear You Are Wearing- Discard the Headgear you are wearing.

Lose Two Cards- Discard two cards.

Lose Your Class- Lose your class. You can replace it with another class the next day.

Lose Your Race- Lose your race. You can replace it with another race the next day.

Truly Obnoxious Curse!- Discard the item that gives you the biggest bonus.

You send in the two secrets. Make them as silly and not obviously about you as you can.

At the beginning of the game, everyone (including the monsters) is listed in alphabetical order, under a spoiler. Their primary secrets (including the monsters) are also listed in alphabetical order, in another spoiler.

Everyone (not the monsters) send in a guess, trying to match the players/monsters to the secrets. You are allowed to PM each other, make pacts of non-violence, join in a crusade against one player (please do this only for a round), or crusade against the monsters (as much as you want).

Really depends on the country/time period/whatever I guess. Certainly some handmaidens were also members of nobility, but in other situations they were just part of the peasantry. At least as far as I know.
