I'm not actually sure that would be a problem. All you have to do is mark certain games as small then only allow the first X people to join. So if anything there should be more small games since there would be more people to join them

Or we could politely ask them not to stay.

On another note, by favorite idea for a game sucks.

It has a secret twist, and would be a train wreck. And I'd need a large number of people.

I have way too many cool ideas for WW games. And I dot even think most of them suck. But a lot of them need lots of people.

Also, how big a game would you need to have 8 wolves?

I actually found it mildly funny, you want them to leave because you don't want players.

For myself, I'll stay for a bit, see what this place is like, then I'll keep playing.

That's extremely unlikely. More players means more diversity of game content typically. You would see more games in general. The large games average size might increase, bit smaller games would likely simply increase in frequency. Especially since structured games has occasionally worries about player numbers. That's part of the reason we have those signstures to advertise around the site.

And the playground is an open site/communty. We have people who have never played the game the webcomic satirizes, DnD players who don't read the comic, role players who don't do either, ect. Staying for only one game is an isolationist stance I have to object to.

    Edit: What penguinator said.

Hey! This isn't the "hello and welcome new members thread!"

I wasn't being serious. The only thing I worry about is that there will be so many games nobody will join mine. (That was a joke, too.)

I'll take more players any day. That means more chances at filling up my big games that I'll never run!

The minute we start not being welcome to new players is the minute I leave. Because that will be the moment it leaves the spirit that has kept me here for two and a half years.

Don't be too worried about game size, should the player base grow large enough from the influx of players, then it's likely player limits in games will rise in popularity too.

Yes, but people took it seriously. That could have been avoided with a or a or something else. Sarcasm/jokes don't always transfer over the internet. If you think it might get misconstrued, think about changing it before you post.

    Why awkward?

There were a bunch of folks that suddenly developed an acute case of gonefromtheforumitis. Nasty disease, it cripples the host... and the players as well.

They are always welcome back. Hopefully I actually get to really play with some of the names I saw when I first joined, Sabeki, LoP...
