...obviously, this night has gone on for a while. I was bogged down with work, and it seems I'm still waiting on an action or two. I'll give a bit of time for these final actions, and then I'll get to writing a narration. Or, if the actions come in earlier, I'll get to writing then. No, it can't be true. That can't be the truth of it all! There must be another scheme, another layer hidden below it all, yes, there must. ...I need to investigate this lead further, and I need to come to my own conclusions. I can't just take another's word, regardless of how the facts seem to line up. There could still- yes, there must be something more to this!

Ah, the state of the town. Another person died, and people are hearing phantom gunshots, even if no one's showing up dead. There's a real panic, and no one knows what's what. I wish I could be of some help, but little information I have makes any sense, and that which does I don't want to believe. Are they really? Could that really be true? No, it can't... but is it?

...obviously, the narration was delayed even more. I ended up having much less computer time than I intended over the past few days, maybe two hours or so each day, for which I had other things to do. Then, when I finally had time, my internet decided to kill itself and disconnect every couple of minutes, requiring me to constantly restart my network adapter, until that stopped working as well. Funnily enough, the fix I found was to unplug a wireless access point. Not sure why that worked, but I have internet now. Yay. Narration up, and we can finally get moving with this. Apologies once more for the delay.

Oh, and the Peddler is indeed still around.

Nope, no narration yet. Long story short, I recently gained a bunch of work with a close deadline, and there's a convention this weekend which I'm already in the middle of. Narration will likely arrive Sunday or Monday at the earliest. To give you an idea of my free time, I got back a bit over an hour ago and have spent the time until now responding to emails. Pretty soon, I'll be headed off to sleep for a hopeful six hours before off again to convention. Rinse and repeat tomorrow. And Sunday, though things end earlier, so I should have a bit more sleep and a bit of time for a narration.

Okay, I need to think about this a bit more. I can't tell what's happening, as my sources have quieted for some reason. Someone may be on to me, and the paranoia wracking my brain can't be good. Well, for now I'll stay focused on the workings of the town and see where it leads me...

Today was very odd, and very quiet. Few people walked the streets, and those who did muttered suspicions. They talked in particular of one man, a man who had disappeared for the day and couldn't be found. They thought it suspicious, though some rose to his defense with alternate options. However, it wasn't enough, and the mob strung him up without remorse... His legacy will live on, if only in the paper we read each day.

Some of you may have seen flyers for a lost cat by the name of Lena around Town. The owner, a Mr. Tanar Aerdoth, had been frantic with worry until he received a call earlier today informing him that a cat of similar description had been seen high up in a tree, yowling something fierce. He rushed to the location quickly and found her, rushing up the tree to bring her down, without waiting for a rescue ladder to arrive. The two have been happily reunited, and Mr. Aerdoth would like to thank the caller, asking if there's anything he can do to help. If you are that person, we ask you to get in contact with him soon!

Flea Market in Town; Buy, Buy, Buy!

Rumors abound of a mysterious peddler selling charms, but more and more are also talking about the new Flea Market just south of Market Square. Located at the Community Center at 618 14th Street, it features a variety of locals selling whatever suits their fancy, and at great prices, too! "Why, it's anything and everything you could ever dream to buy! You wouldn't believe the collectors and antiques an old town like this draws, and we aren't too shabby about getting new things, neither," said one of the major vendors, a Mr. Lloyd Graves, when we inquired what was sold. "With so many people and so much history, why... it's like an international network of vendors! Why not just call it the Internet Flea Market, with the best deals in Town!" The selection is large and ever-growing, as more and more local shops set up on Fridays and Saturdays, 10 am - 6 pm, when the Flea Market is in action and thriving. Since they know some faces around town, they're bound to give discounts. If you want something, check it out first. We guarantee you won't regret it!

Mooney Secrets Revealed: Actually a Dark Cult

Many speak of the deep rivalry of brewing gangs Mooney and Shiner. However, do they really know the full story? One brave soul (name withheld for obvious reasons) went undercover to investigate a side of the dispute: the Mooney Gang. What he found surprised him, and it took long hours to coax the truth from him: there is a Mooney sect consisting of Lolth Followers. Whatever their reasons, it cannot be good. "I remember it even now," he said, shuddering visibly. "The head follower stood in the dark on stage in front of us, cowl on his head. Darkness filled the room, and the flickering candles didn't help prepare me for what was to happen. 'Praise be to Lolth,' he said. 'May she shroud the world in darkness and grant us power to overwhelm our foes,' he said. Then he took a spider, a spider and ATE it! It was wriggling! The lights blew out, and I heard a scream before I ran in terror. What ARE they?" Perhaps there is more to the story than meets the eye, but is it right to put our trust and our drinks in the hands of a, well, cult? It's your decision, but this writer will surely be checking for spiders when he next picks up a glass...

Yes, I disappeared. I sincerely apologize. Work deadlines slammed on me as well as vacations what with the end of summer approaching. I've moved into college (mostly) and am headed off to another con in... less than 12 hours. As such, I wanted to have this narration out and ready before then, and I'm glad it worked out. I will be returning late on the 1st, so the narration will probably be out sometime on the 2nd. With school restarting, I should now be on a regular schedule, which means I *should* be better with keeping up-to-date with deadlines. I'll be checking QTs sporadically on my phone while at the convention, but I likely won't be able to do much. If I see anything pressing, I'll see what I can do about getting on my computer.
