A chase ensues, and eventually the man is cornered in an alley.

"Does it matter? He's wasted our time! Kill him!"
"Pheh, it won't matter, but go ahead."

The set of armor crumples to the ground, devoid of an occupant. The pursuers stand above it, shocked, as day turns to dusk turns to night...

Indecision, and the people of this town want someone else to make their decisions for them. It seems that no one's angry at anyone else; they just want to survive and keep surviving. If only this senseless killing could stop, though I know that's not the case. I know it not to be the case, but I cannot say why. It completely baffles me, this town...

Yay, delays... >.> Sorry, I know I've been really bad with keeping any sort of schedule. I hope you guys are enjoying the game aside from that, and I'll try to get things done more quickly. School never lets me rest, but whatever. Finally night begins!

Costume Contest Uncovers Stunning Entrepreneur

Two days ago, the Glenburgs held a spectacular costume party at their estate. The main event of the night was their annual costume contest, at which all the party-goers would be judged on their costumes without bias. The top three were chosen by a surprising unanimous decision by the judges, though they had difficulty choosing one to put above another. After awarding the first-ever tied second-place prize, another shocking piece of information was revealed. All three of the winning costumes were designed by a Mr. cardrian of Illustrious Fabrics. Although his store only opened in the past month, his work is obviously top-notch, and he says he can give anyone the disguise of their dreams, turning ordinary townsfolk into marvellous beasts. With such stellar work, there's no doubt that this fine man will be swamped with work in the coming days...

The night passes quietly again. Perhaps this marks the day, the day that this killing could end? I know it an unlikely outcome, but one can only hope. Of course, even if a majority is against killing, all it takes is a single push, a single wound, and the town will plunge back into chaos again...

Edit: Also, the newspaper is only kind of to be believed. It is not necessarily true, but it appears to be telling us Cardrian is a disguiser on the town side. From past lives, I know the newspaper is not always true.

Considering the lynch failed yesterday I see no reason to think he has no one better to bane.

The alternative is nightkilling him of course, but people are trying to take that option away now, despite having enough night banes in play that no one's dying.

Also, when I was a day-baner my first life there was motivation to bane others included in the role. I would guess the same is true for other day-baners. And as for whether he is town or not, he has been around long enough that I would be genuinely surprised if he hasn't been recruited yet.

Hm, funny how we had this conversation about good will when I joined the game and I argued there wasn't any to be had. Seeing how I'm being repaid for going out of my way to not get Nonayer lynched yesterday, I think that's settled then

Sadly, I have a deadline tonight and the added stress of a drawn out self defense isn't something I need today, so I'll make this one simple and come clean. If there are questions, maybe I'll be able to answer them tomorrow but I'm not sure.

Yes, I can nightkill. But I can't just kill anyone, I have restrictions based on alignment. As a matter of act, I haven't killed anyone since I joined, despite trying every night. Go back and check the total number of deaths since I joined. Not a whole lot of a killing spree, is there?

Also worth mentioning: of the four people currently on my wagon, I targeted 3 and none of you are dead, so what does that tell you about trying to get me lynched? And you are correct, Nonayer, this includes you. Your "protection" is the fact that you're not on my list of possible kills, a fact of which I was informed of in no uncertain terms by Count.

So let me ask you this: how is me having a night kill even relevant to getting me lynched? A lynch should be based on alignment, not ability. And I reckon that for most of you, lynching me is the wrong move.

I'll have to go with the counter wagon and say Bourgeois Jerry.

Except you have tried to kill at least three people still actively playing, and hey, alignments change. So chances are you are going to keep trying to kill someone each night and eventually whatever your win condition is, you will fulfill it. Who's to say you won't try one of us again who's died and come back with different alignment?
