Re: Wanda and Jillian... end-turn in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G?
While I don't buy the out-there proposal of a unique golem/uncroaked creature that is somehow able to pass for human, it might be true on a symbolic level (i.e. Wanda has shaped Jillian into her instrument via brainwashing).
It's possible (though purely speculative at this point) that she has given Jillian mental suggestions to insure that she continues to fly reckless recon missions and get re-captured (or maybe not; her existing rashness and overconfidence might be quite sufficient). It's also possible (ditto the "speculative" caveat) that residual resistance and subconscious realization that she's been set up to betray Ansom (and perhaps not just by giving up information) have made her reluctant to get too close to Ansom and/or given her a death wish.Last edited by SteveMB; 2007-04-11 at 03:23 PM.

Okay, see that snuggle? I -know- that snuggle. That's a subbie in the arms of her dom. I freaking WIN. Though I'm not seeing my original theory as to why.

Well, I may be mistaken but I think this strip just revealed confirmed they are lesbian.

Re: Wanda and Jillian... end-turn in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G?
Lesbian? Not necessarily, though they are definately in a relationship with sexual tones. There's a wide spectrum between straight and gay... but I think we can definately kick Jillian square into at least the bi range. No answer as to how much of this is manipulation and being a torturer, or how much is genuine feeling for Wanda... but Jill? Yep. She's Wanda's. Period.
EDIT: I'm gonna go ahead and save the mods some trouble, and say we're not gonna argue about the existance or non-existance of shades of sexuality. It's my statement, and it's on topic as far as it goes, but let's not turn this into that whole thing...Last edited by InfernalistGame; 2007-04-15 at 08:54 PM.
