SJ-314 will speak in Gold. One question: Why are we designated as SJ when the designation in Galaxy at War book is TK?

Finished Character up, just have background to do: Zor Chak

I think that Zor will look like Keanu Reeves did when playing neo in the matrix computer world, but more lean and with more muscle tone. Everything else should fit pretty personality-wise.

Background: Zor Chak grew up on Bespin, living among the clouds where he helped his father build things for a company that sold them to the empire. This brought his father to the attention of the Rebellion who tried to recruit him and failed. After some years passed, his family took a trip away in some kind of space cruise ship. During that trip, the ship they were on was attacked by Rebels because his father wouldn't sign up with them or stop working for the Empire. As a result, the Rebels killed him and his family and made it look like an attack by pirates. Zor was given his father's datacard, which contained everything he had been working on, which Zor hid from the Rebels so they couldn't find it. An Imperial ship picked up on their distress call and rescued the ship, which inspired Zor who wanted to be a hero like that. So he enlisted after living on Bespin, where he had lived on the streets due to being presumed dead with his father.

Everything is from the main book except Scavenger (which is from Force Unleashed) and Comrades in Arms (a talent from Clone wars that gives a +1 to all attack rolls [melee and ranged] as long as you are within 3 squares of an ally). I am planning on taking Zor into the Sabotuer and military engineer prestige classes since the only difference between the two is needing Deception. Zor is a builder of things, which is what is place in the squad would be.

Anything needed or is everything fine?

I normally do not like being that guy, but as a veteran of X-Wing, I have to point out that the campaign in Dellalt and the destruction of the Invincible pre-dates the Battle of Yavin by a good margin.

I almost missed it but in the recruitment thread TheThan said he decided that the campaign would take place before the Battle of Yavin instead. I prefer that honestly because it lessens the impact on the imperial military but it does take away the emotional impact of knowing how many of your fellow soldiers were blasted away.

Honestly if Tarkin hadn't blown up a planet I'd say the Rebels and Imps were equal in the 'war crime' scale. But...yeah Imps still ahead by a wiiiide margin.

Well, I did miss that, and I really do approve of the choice. There is way more to work with before that point, and the history was less cluttered.

    Hey, donít spoil it!
    Seriously though, good catch.

And yes I did have to go back and change the starting date of the campaign. I wanted more freedom to have fun with the warís events, and I accidentally punched in the wrong time frame anyway.

As for the designation; Iíve made some changes.
The Storm trooper designation system uses two letters followed by a three digit number. Starting with AA and going through ZZ, then the three digit number. The letters designate what graduating class you are from, while the number is your actual numerical designation. A three digit code is much easier to remember than a 10 digit code anyway.

You know, as soon as Dellalt, Invincible, and "before Yavin" got said, I was totally excepting for us to arrive to find out that the rebels had blown up the ship. I have got X-Wing, plus Tie Fighter, and frankly the TIE Defender is the best starfighter in the galaxy. Its too bad we don't get to fly them. Or the Missile Boat, which rewrote the rules on broken beyond belief.

Something to do here, it might be wrong, so GM let me know and I will post this into IC thread.

Perception to determine if Zor notice anything else about officers and recognizes female officer. Using separate rolls for this.

I'll be rolling those same rolls, as well as an additional one for anything unusual around the hangar and immediate vicinity.

    Troopers - (1d20+14)[34] - Nice! A Natural 20 for my first roll!
    Woman - (1d20+14)[22]

haha, that's be an interesting way to start it out. But no, I'm not blowing up your ship yet.

I always felt the tie defender was a bit of a cheat. It's way too strong compared to anything else in either game. it sort of throws the balance off. That's why it wasn't in x-wing vs tie fighter.
i love the explanation of why they weren't deployed hardly at all. Don't want to cut into the capital ship budget.

Everything seems like business as usual. you don't notice anything out of the ordinary.

I would also like to note that i'm stealing borrowing heavily from every war movie i've ever seen. So be ready for tons of war movie references.
