I got more time off work than I expected.. I'm going to get all four days of GenCon available. Weird.

I know it's a bit short notice, but as Ecrinya mentioned so many months ago, we do have space to put up a person or two if you don't mind being a ways away from downtown proper (~20 minutes drive there, and expect at least another 10 or so to find parking depending on the time of day.)


Also.. we should pin down some times for the traditional Playground meet/greet/lewtbrag/possible lunch or dinner for those who don't have to dash off to some other event.


Edit: Oh, and Krade.. I got my RDI tournament ticket. Gonna do better this year. And hopefully not draw Gerki again.

Historically, that's about 6 at the Serpentine Hall. For those who don't know where that is, it's at the top of the escalators, near the exit/entrance to the skyramp that leads to the mall. Facing back toward the RCA Dome turn to your right. Around the minis painting section.

Well, I might be able to be there Friday. If anyone doesn't mind having a bum sleeping on their floor... I would be most appreciative. But baring that, I'll see if I can find a cheap hotel somewhere within 10 miles or so.

I will be there again this year. I may even have a costume this year. I also miss it being in Milwaukee, which was considerably closer to me (hour and a half at most, now 6 hours at best), but the parking situation in that town was just atrocious.

I'll be there all 4 days, I'll get there tomorrow, but I'll be out after picking up my stuff from Will Call. I'll make the meetup Thursday for sure, probably Saturday, maybe Friday.

Not I. I brought my camera Saturday, but I forgot to load the battery into it.

That's too bad. I was hoping to find some decent pictures of my wife and I's costumes. We were Beetlejuice and Lydia, and we were stopped numerous times for photos, so now I'm trying to see if I can find some. Doesn't seem like many people are posting there pictures of the con this year. A not insignificant number of the picture requests seemed to be from people there to see the football game so that might be a part of it as well.

Actually, I did show up on Saturday and wait around for a little bit, but I couldn't identify a group that I thought was you guys. A flag or sign really would be helpful in the future. Fortunately, it's looking like I might be back next year, so I can join you then if this still happens.

Well, there technically is a sign, but it was made and owned by Alarra who, I hasten to add, did not attend this year. And, naturally, making a sign is like, so much work, so no one else has ever made one.
