Hm...weird. All of them work on Firefox (presumably because they are cached) but in Chrome all but one between the Ladron screenshot and the Badajoz screenshot are missing. Are those the same ones that are missing for you, or are there others?

    Working now for me.

EDIT: Interesting turn of events. I find it pretty amusing that one of our kinsmen managed to inherit Germany, and it looks like he's doing pretty well for himself; he's not just a one-county king. Out of curiosity, when did we pick up the k_castile title?

We don't have it. The new king's wife does (Castille and Asturias, I think). Although she's still got nothing on Queen Sarrazine (the one Italy teamed up with Byzantium to pound on) who has, in the span of the last king's reign, gone from Queen of Aragon to Queen of Aragon, Burgundy, and Aquitaine. Oh, and did I mention that she's allied with West Francia and also hates our guts because I kept assassinating her subjects to try and prop myself up onto the Aquitaine throne? Because that happened a lot.

I think that was one of the many relatives/kinsman which I married off to random German princesses in hopes of exactly just that. (Aragon should be of our kin as well, given time. )

EDIT: Also, year 999. Auspicious date to end.

Aragon was already our kin, I think, but of the wrong dynasty. We're very tightly bred with the Karlings at this point, which is why we're involved every time there's an uprising in what's left of Lotharingia.

Also that reminds me that I married two relatives together by accident. And also, there's a lot of bastards in our court (this king was a frisky one).

Edit: Exactly what DLCs are we running? Are we using The Republic and Sword of Islam?

And to use the save, do I move it into the Crusader Kings II folder? Where's the sub folder for saves?

We're using only five: (potraits are still optional)
    - The Old Gods
    - Sons of Abraham
    - Legacy of Rome

    - African Portraits
    - Mongolian Portraits

The save folder should be located in ...\ My Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings 2

To find the saves folder, just search for *.ck2 and view the directory all your results are coming from.

Seniority inheritence miiiiight be a bad idea, until you can get a serious naval force/ solid contiguous stretch of land to Germany at least. Though I will say I like the competent AI relatives.

    Spoiler: Chapter 14
    Show
Thus the chronicles of King Lope the Half-Hand. King of Navarra, and consort to the Queen of Asturias. King Lope trained to be a mighty warrior from an early age and served his father well in the Reconquista of Iberia. Loosing an arm in battle did not deter him from taking to the fields of battle and leading his troops against the Mohammedan usurpers. Upon ascension to the throne, he continued his fathers works as King instead of general. He was skilled with the sword and dagger, but not with the voice or pen.

Vassals were unsure of this new king. Could he be as great as his father? Already there were murmurs about independence.

To boost the peoples opinion, the King went on pilgrimage to Santiago to visit the remains of Saint James and to tour his kingdom as it's king.

Shortly upon his return to court, his wife brought joyous news, another bastion of the infidels had fallen.

During the summer fair to celebrate this great victory, an emissary from Italy approached the king with an intriguing plot. The emissary flattered the king and praised his art the cloak and dagger. (For who would suspect a one armed man?) He suggested that the infidel queen consort of Italy should meet an unfortunate accident.

Soon word came of a call to arms in civil war in Germany headed by the villain Welf. King Lope agreed to join the war as a show of solidarity, but committed no troops to the war.

The infidel's to the south were of a greater concern. The turn of the millennium would bring civil in Asturias and conquest to Seville. More lands should be returned to the rightful rule of Christian lords and ladies.

But new generals were needed as the long wars of the last king had deprived the lands of competent leadership.

Meanwhile in Pamplona, Princess Ana, crown princess to the kingdoms of Navarra and Asturias was had finished her education. Although that would imply that she ever studied in the first place.

More wars for the newly independent counts were called, and during one, more dire news from Italy. A pretender to the seat of St. Peter had arisen. The so called Pope Marcellus III had been raised up by the king of Italy to challenge the authority of the true pope, Adeodatus III. Nothing could be done about it for the time being as Italy commended twice the levy as Austirias and could call in allies from the surrounding kingdoms.

In the year of the Lord, 1010, King Lope knew his time on the earth was going to be short. His body was drained of all it's strength and he could no longer walk on his own.

His loving wife, worried about their family's legacy being cut short, created a new crown that would one day rest upon his daughter's head. The kingdom of the Portugal.

But it was all for naught. Days before the crystal jubilee, King Lope passed away in his sleep. His body interred next to his father in the royal chapel in Pamplona.
    The king's final recorded words:
My dearest daughter. My life is draining from me and I will soon go to rest with the LORD along side my father. Do not be sad for we will be together again soon. Continue the fight for our faith and purge the infidel from our lands. Raise up my grandson well and let him follow in the footsteps of the great men of our dynasty. Beware the personal union of crowns that is coming to our neighbors to the east. Do not let them merge their kingdoms like your mother and I have. Make the Basque people as proud of you as I am.

    OOC:
    Spoiler
    Show
Well that was a short game. Not even 15 years in, but them's the breaks of having multiple -health mods. The next player will have even worse stats (though better diplomacy) than I did, however we have a strong heir unless we try to unite our lands with Germany.
Scotland, France, and Burgundy are is serious threat of all being inherited together. I didn't notice this until too late to do anything about it and forgot to screen shot it. Italy and Bohemia will split on succession, unless they changed their laws from Gavelkind.
I also have a few extra screenshots that didn't fit the narrative up on my steam profile. I'll have the save uploaded some time tomorrow and it will be up for a few days.
Edit: Nevermind. Dropbox wants to place nice again so here is the save.

I am still surprised we're in Elective though. Who'll be the inevitable player who rolls us back into Gavelkind or even Seniority/Primogeniture?

EDIT: List of players updated. So far we appear to have Cristo Meyers in the running for the next king.

Well the next player will probably need to change succession law. I'm pretty sure both the kingdom titles my wife had were primogeniture.
