Unless Serps' Australian location is in the past, you might need to include a flight around the world (and allow time for such a flight) for that to be much good. In that time, I expect that spider has crawled under the refridgerator.

Is it okay for me to place spiders where you can see them, by way of experiment, to see if you can hit high C while giving vocal vent to your alarm? Coming from Wisconsin, near a lake, I've got some enormous fishing spiders that you might particularly "enjoy."

As stated earlier, I often mix my own scents using essential oils and such.
Ladies, what scents are the best on a man? What do you want your man to smell like? I mean other than the Old Spice Guy AKA The Man Your Man Could Smell Like (TMYMCSL)

I find Tobacco Flower to be still a masculine scent despite being sweet. It's also not too strong, and blends well with other scents.

    Not bad.
That's uh... about as close to anything specific as I can get you. I can smell deodorant on guys soon after they've sprayed it on, but that's about it. As far as I'm aware I've never been that close to anyone who wore cologne or anything.

Vanilla, cinnamon, clove. Clove tends to be nice on the body, but only if the person's Body Odor isn't overwhelming. If it is particularly pungent, I find clove makes it extra gross. Apple pie + sweat. Ugh.

(Guy, but this seems to work)

Work with what you've got. Don't compare yourself to celebrities that have personal trainers, personal chefs, and whose livelihood depends on maintaining their attractiveness.

If you hate your hair figure out something you do like or keep it short and easy to manage.

Figure out if facial hair is for you.

Work out if at all possible. If you don't have a lot of time or are in bad shape start small. Ten push ups in the morning before the shower is better than zero. Two is still better than zero as long as you're doing them right. Learn new exercises and how to do them safely. Squats are amazing (safely!).

Eat well, or at least better. If you don't know how to cook, there are some easy recipies to learn. Eat your veggies, if you hate veggies find some you like or make sure you're cooking them properly. A lot of people hate veggies because their parents overcooked the brussels sprouts or whatever into a bitter pile of sludge and sorrow. Today we have the internet.

Get a good job, or work towards getting a good job (education etc). Preferably a good job doing something you actually enjoy or are good at. Have something you're good at that you do for fun as well.

Be funny. Don't be funny at the expense of other people.

Do research on specific questions on the internet. Carefully consider the source of any advice you plan to follow, and see if you can find independent sources supporting the advice.

If you don't have the slightest clue how to do any of this, you're probably a teenager (there are some other cases). Do the easy ones and start working on or towards the harder ones. Don't try to learn everything at once or you'll go nuts. Remember to work with what you have.

If nothing else, exercise, be funny, like how you look, and have a future.

I understood the title completely wrong, and was going to answer "hugs, kisses, and sex I guess?"

Then I realised (by reading the first post) that you meant "what attracts you in a guy's appearance?".

Well, I like nerds. That's more a personality thing than appearance I guess but here you go. I've been attracted to tall guys, short guys, skinny guys, fat guys, so body type doesn't matter much to me. I like glasses, I guess, but they're certainly not a requirement.

I wish there was a trait I could identify in all the guys I'm attracted to and none of the guys I'm not attracted to, but... there really isn't. I like guys who are genuinely nice and friendly. I like guys willing to be vulnerable in front of me. I don't like macho guys and I don't like guys who don't respect me. None of these are really physical attributes though.

It depends on the circumstances and duration of your unemployment, and what you each want from the other. For a short-term fling it's relatively unimportant and might even be a bonus, if it means you have more time to spend with them. In a long-term relationship, people tend to want stability and a degree of responsibility (which having a job signifies). Unless they're loaded and rather generous, too, people also tend to prefer a partner who's at least partly self-sufficient financially.

In my experience, in the early stages of unemployment it makes no difference to relationships, whether just starting or long-term. As time wears on, it takes its toll.

And vice versa is probably also true - in the "honeymoon" stage of a relationship it might not matter, but it makes it harder to progress past that stage with the relationship intact, particularly if the girl in question is starting to consider the long-term practicality of the match.

I would add a different qualifier.

Provided you are the biological offspring of the people you refer to as "mom" and "dad", it's very likely the former found the latter attractive at some point of their life. Add to this, we know attraction is partially genetic - so strongly, in fact, that there's a separate effect that turns this attraction off in case of close family members so that there won't be too much inbreeding.

What this means then? Well, if your mommy or sissy thinks you look good in those clothes, prepare for the women you attract to be a lot like your mommy or sissy.

I don't really think that's supported in practice. Attraction may have some genetic components, but I think it's too easy to find people of wildly different genetic backgrounds who find the same things attractive to support the idea that someone attracted to a look that one's mother or sister finds attractive will necessarily be or is even likely to be similar in personality to one's mother or sister, since they are not guaranteed to be particularly genetically similar to one's mother or sister and even if they were, that would not guarantee particularly similar personalities.

I'm torn. The guys I really want don't exist in reality. I'm either stuck with one half of the physical requirements that I am allowed to enjoy (Tall, strong muscle definition, broad shoulders, broad jawlines... face can go a number of configurations, but I prefer long, smooth hair. Thor and the first 300 movie had good body models I loved ), or sigh wistfully at the other half that are illegal and apparently immoral to desire (Simba's the sexiest Disney Prince ever).

So question, tattoos? I have plans to get a couple, still in college currently, but if most girls hate them I'd probably reconsider seeing as I would rather meet my future spouse than have some ink. Also since I am asking questions, what about tactical stuff? Like I am getting a tactical slingpack because my previous messenger bag had a disappointingly short life of barely a year, and tactical stuff if bought from the correct retailer will last through a zombie apocalypse or two (also they are thoroughly organized.) Is it a warning flag for anything or am I over thinking here?

A contribution to the thread, most girls I know want a guy who is kind and sweet (in my experience these girls have a tendency to friend zone those guys). Oh and being able to carry them most girls I know like that. So guys we should be doing push ups

While I'm not a girl, I'm fairly certain this is a largely individual thing. Some people might find it attractive, others will be put off. It seems unlikely to be a dealbreaker either way, although it could be. I imagine it would also depend, obviously, on the location and nature of the tattoos in question. The less visible the tattoo (and hence the longer it will likely be before any given person sees it) the less extreme the reaction.

This is my gut reaction to it as well, but I thought I'd ask to be safe. Never hurts to ask when unsure.

Tattoos and any sort of "gear" will all be a matter of taste. Some women love them, some hate them, some are indifferent. The main things are to make sure they're good quality and attractive, and probably ideally that you can hide them if you need to. For any atire, the most important thing is that it suits you, both your body and your personality.
Tattoos and tactical gear, specifically, is a bit of a subculture signal. You are likely to significantly attract a particular subgroup of people, who will be assuming certain things about you based on that appearance. If that appearance is more or less accurately representing those things, and you like the types of women it tends to attract, no worries. Just something to keep in mind - appearance sends messages, and things like tattoos and non-mainstream clothing are especially strongly coded.

I'm gonna go right ahead and pseudo-ignore the "friendzone" nonsense :I
