All these deals sound fine. Gems to Glazfell and the Triumvirate and stone to Lyradis.

Blade, can you send your wood to the Heartwaste? Wombat and Quinton or zabbarot, can you send yours to Yorukuni? I'll edit my actions. (and add the space that caused Logic's confusion :P)

EDIT: I would also like to get some food. No more precious gems available I don't think. Stone or Silk for trade.

This is also true in Guilder; as in old fluff, they believe everyone has "value." Some recently have perverted this upon seeing slavery. Interestingly, even those few who have slaves treat them very well: they get better quarters than any of the poor. Economic investments must be protected, after all.

Council seats will be elected or selected via different regions leadership habits. The Merfolk might elect, but the Grmanhilli might select a representative from the leading clan at the time. The goal is to have both democracy and a monarchy, and have them balance each other out.

What if with the UN council thing, we have it where the people of each nation select their representatives, which are seperate to the rulers?
Huh. This is one of those things I would've thought I'd know.

Sadly, I can't afford the action - do you mind saving it for the eastern conference next turn? That's not to say Maatkare can't leave the current summit with Inigo. I imagine he'd rather enjoy a fiancee/wife who doesn't really mind the presence of mistresses.

Does Propinlonge import Spices and Tin? I envisage Spam being a profitable export. Although perhaps Tar, with its Generic Meat, would be a more appropriate provenance for that.

I've got a poor beginning to turn spinstress who will be 23-28 next round in need of a husband. A Celerese or Pavonian would be appreciated but Palas Caercia is willing to open up to another nation as well as long as they aren't an enemy to the Imperium. The royal in question is the fourth child, second daughter, of the current Lord Protector and can be (and traditionally would) move to her husband's home. She's an artist (though I never got around to RPing her at the Games which I suppose I still could...) and a bit of a free spirit but she's settling down as she's getting older.

I think Silverbit means the feudal lords can't marry across to the other feudal lords which is kinda weird IC but would help keep things tracked easier OOC.

If it was a patriarchal system it wouldn't matter because a male heir would always inherit over a female child so marriages between the houses would be fine, but in an equal opportunity inheritance system the eldest male of a line could marry the eldest female of another line and that would beg the question of what their children would inherit, or worse yet if they only had one child, would he or she then become lord of both his or her parents realms? Probably not, probably another family member would be appointed to the realm the child didn't inherit but keeping track of all that would be a headache I imagine.

Quinton is correct, yes. Regional rulers can't marry into the families of other regional rulers, but they can marry foreign royalty just fine.

Sam, do you want to do a huge event wedding? Our countries both revel in opulence, after all.

I was old in those epochs uncounted

Btw guys, just a reminder, next round I've got a huge event planned out for Wayve's corronation with quite some plot prepared for it. So if at least a few people would attend, that would be great .

So yeah, brides would be nice.
Princess Asrana is twenty-seven as of 425. Perhaps a marriage between her and the future governor of Sulvan's Fury would be in order?

Also on the topic of marriage, I also have Prince Lazarul who is twenty-five as of 425.

Inigo's open! STILL. We can marry 'em off at the Games if you like.

Next round? Sounds cool. I'll announce my GK there, make some other trades.

I'll show up! Even if I can't devote an action, Guilder will send some opportunistic merchants.

While we're talking marriages, Lord Chancellor Irvest Ethmorl is open. As is his twin sister Cyna and his younger brother Loki II. The twins will be 37 in 425 and Loki II will be 35.

...For some reason my rulers always get married late. Eh.

    True.
