Her snakey hair writhes and coils around as she keeps at least four snakes looking at the teen at all times. She's not trying to be intimidating, but her race might make the poor gender-neutral teller nervous.

The teen stares at Agape for a moment, or rather, at her snakes. They stare for a long time, their throat drying, their lips narrowing, and then they back up and grab a pair of prizes off the shelf before placing them on the counter, scratching off a pair of stickers that say '200' and '500'.

"Listen, Miss Thresher, I don't think you're quite ready to take over the world just yet. Maybe someone's apartment, assuming they have a ramp, not the world."

"The surface has people who have entire sharks for everything. I saw a man with sharks for teeth once. It was mildly terrifying. We have guys with dolphin heads, flying airships that can destroy the moon, tanks that can roll over bathtubs with ease...this really isn't a good place for a mermaid with a bathtub to attack on her own."
