Default Question about the speaker in dreams adventure module

for anyone who has played these modules before:
Can I start my level 5 party into The Speaker in Dreams module without having played the first two modules?

    Extra info:
I started a homebrew campaign, and everyone is just reaching level 5. I no longer have the time to plan out stuff from scratch and they just finished my first story arc.
I was thinking about using a premade and found The Speaker in Dreams starts at level 5, but its part of an 8 part series. I've never used premades before, am I ok skipping the first two adventures, as they just seem to be loosely tied together, or is there an overall plot?
I was told read through it, but I dont want to buy the pdf if i cant use it...

    The different modules:
    The Sunless Citadel
    The Forge of Fury
    The Speaker in Dreams
    The Standing Stone
    Heart of Nightfang Spire
    Deep Horizon
    Lord of the Iron Fortress
    Bastion of Broken Souls

Default Re: Question about the speaker in dreams adventure module

Speaker In Dreams is described on the back cover as a "stand-alone" adventure, so I think you're fine. Nothing in the introductory or background passages suggests you need to run the others first. However, I have not played the module (yet; I am planning to run the entire series in the future).
