I... don't know if I could be said to have one. I used to be a goddess and I still have both connections and experience regarding certain deific matters, but I never really had any main draw like close combat or the like.

"A goddess... well. I have heard HALO was full of deities. I'm a fighter through and through, which is why I've always been pretty bad at a lot of leadership duties. I can command people, but diplomacy and administration? Not my strong suit."

Great kid, also kind of worrying, given that her main pastime seems to be beating the hell out of things with a big-ass sword and she's really, really stoked about it.

To be precise, she's one of several children from an alternate future timeline who... just sorta decided to show up here and hang out. She's mine and Angela's. Conrack, in case you don't know, is an older man - a retired mercenary - who wears an awesome combination of a cape and leather boots. Also, his head is not a human head. It's a wolf's head. Pretty cool, if you ask me.

"Nice to meet you, Candace. Yes, in fact, there is, and it's not too heavy," says Conrack, who leads her through the courtyard on the stony paths towards...a bench. There's a bench in the courtyard between all the towers.

"As I'm sure you've already heard, this place is VIGIL," he says, sitting down at the bench. He's a little tired, having walked all the way from Inside to here. "We basically save the world, do good deeds, and look great doing it."

"So, there's always a demand for work here or at our other bases. We need people who are good in battle, people who are good at planning, people who are good in hospitals or laboratories or who are good at training others, secretaries, warriors, magicians, janitors, and so on. Basically, we need everything."

"So, Candace, what sort of things are you good at?" he asks Candace, as he reaches down into his bag, trying to find a membership form. "Or, what do you like to do?"

Candace sits down on the bench. I'm mostly an entertainer, but I also have a way with people. It tends not to work on those overly focused on something else, but I have an ability to...not quite hypnotize people, but something similar. It's not the most useful for combat, but it really helps when someone wants to focus on something. I used to use it while the men drilled, it made it easier for them to learn. Some of them said it helped them heal faster too. She pauses for a moment. Honestly I'd be happy just making myself useful around the base, at least until the little one arrives.

"Here it is," he says, shoving the paper towards Candace.

A young mutant walks up to the gates. She wears sneakers, jeans, a denim jacket, and a red tank top. The elbows and knees of her clothes have holes in them, revealing scars on her pale skin. Her eyes are pure white, and her hair looks like the individual strands of fiber optic cables.

Krystal will reach the gate and knock a few times, then wait politely to be let in.

"Now, we've just got to find someone who can take care of this for you." He then looks up, trying to see if he can spot a higher-ranked VIGIL member person.

On Tovpir's back are 6 children he freed from a slaver, but since he isn't sure what to do with them, he searches for Magtok. After all he was the one giving the order and might know how to handle humanoid kids.
