The lawyer nods and says, "Hmmm....Well, I just suppose the classics would be good...You know, horns, wings, a tail...Blue skin would be nice too."

Inside Office

Tep's only restriction is that he can't sign a contract with a mortal and call them Master. This contract should not have any problem in terms of that.

Darrian freezes. He really didn't expect her to figure it out? No, ridiculous. He knows he's good, but even Kirk isn't to vain to think he's that distinctive. "I'm sure I'd remember you if we'd done this before." He says, one last attempt to lie.

[Murkus]

[Office]

Of course he would interpret it as his skill being the most distinctive factor. Though Tina would never tell him - his inflated ego would probably burst his skull - that was certainly one reason.

Fettina looks absolutely offended. The practitioner of musicka most grand... pouts and crosses her arms at Mr. Darrian. "You're hurting my feelings, now."

[Shadowcaller]

[SHEOL Reception]

"B-L-U-E S-K-I-N..." The receptionist writes down. "No other preferences?"

Inside Office

"Good, let's get package." The imp states before diving under it's desk. Did it keep everything under there? It eventually comes out with a rectangular light brown package without any special markings except for the address and the recipient, Reinfield Balthazar. "As long as you follow contract it should be no problem. Any other questions?"

[Ionbound]

[SHEOL Reception]

She shakes her head and says, "No, not really...Oh god, I'm so nervous..."

[Shadowcaller]

[SHEOL Reception]

"Nothing to be nervous about, this facility obviously isn't equipped for the transfusion. You will instead be scheduled to The Devil's Charm Hospital at this address." The imp hands over a note with the information. "The transfusion will be in three days from now so you will have plenty of time to consider your choices."

[Deathkeeper]

Inside Office

Tep shakes his head and takes the package.
"No, that should be fine, thanks." says the imp. And then off he goes...

[Ionbound]

[SHEOL Reception]

She nods and says, "Alright," as she takes the note and, unless stopped, leaves.

[Gullara]

[Office]

"Perhaps my memory just needs jogging." Darrian suggests. What game is she playing now? "Where might we have met?"

[Murkus]

[Office]

Tina gives him a look that's difficult to interpret. She decides to get off've him, at first moving away as though growing tired of his continued deceit. Instead, she halts by the edge of his desk, one hand against her chin, the other on her hip. A thoughtful stance if ever there was.

The girl is still wearing her heels. They're making her long, dark legs seem all the more long. She shifts weight from one to the other, heavily accentuating the place just above those lean locomotive limbs.

"It was Trogs, I think," says Fettina conversationally, brushing dark hair over one petite shoulder. It rolls down between her shoulder blades loosely.

Hell, if her hunch was wrong, it wasn't as though she'd given Darrian any reason to be upset with her.

And he'd frozen up. Hesitated. She'd seen him.

[Gullara]

[Office]

Darrian scrutinizes her for a moment and then just shrugs. "You don't know when to leave well enough alone, do you?" He kicks his feet up on the desk and leans back.

[Murkus]

[Office]

"I knew it!" Tina whirls around, no longer able to contain herself. The skinny, naked young black lady puts her hands on the arm of 'Darrian's' chair and leans over him, eyes even brighter than usual, face framed with with curtains of black. "I knew it. You bastard!" She grins. "You absolute bastard. You had sex with me and even then you weren't gonna say." She rolls her eyes and stands up straight again, propping a fist on one hip. Her head shakes disapprovingly, but her smile stays. "Unbelievable."

[Gullara]

[Office]

"And here I thought you knew me better. I was even going to have a good laugh at your expense." The disguised drow jokes casually. His mind is working in the background, though. This is a problem, one he has to handle one way or another.

[Murkus]

[Office]

"So?" Tina puts forth, as though she'd already asked a question. She walks around and plops her butt down on the edge of the desk, beside Kirk's propped legs. "What the hell, dude? Why are you disguised as a SHEOL exec?" She gestures with a hand out, palm-up.

[Gullara]

[Office]

"I think you know too much already." Kirk replies with a shake of his head. "I'm already going to have to make sure you don't mention this to anyone." Which he really hopes won't be an issue.

[Murkus]

[Office]

"I'm envisioning something on the five o'clock news..." Tina makes a grand gesture with her hands, throwing them out then spreading them, palms-out. "Or maybe a big sign, if I'm feeling particularly obnoxious." She had better be joking. "Or... maybe if I get some recompense for being wronged so wholly, your little secret won't get spread around like a nasty case of the clap." She grins and winks at him infuriatingly. "How's that sound, sugar?"

[Gullara]

[Office]

"Hm? Sorry, I'm just trying to size your feet for a pair of cement shoes. What are you, a five?" Kirk looks down at her feet as he asks this rather lightly. If she's going to make claims like that, so is he.

[Murkus]

[Office]

"Good guess, Mister Locke, but I don't put much stock in your threats," Tina teases him dramatically, putting those dark little feet out to use his lap as a rest. She isn't even close to taking him seriously. "I think I'd like a more... permanent position, here at SHEOL. Do you think we can arrange that?"

[Gullara]

[Office]

Kirk's expression gives nothing away. "What did you have in mind?" He asks neutrally.

[Murkus]

[Office]

"I wanna be a model, whaddya think?" Tina asks, giggling. She isn't taking anything seriously, by the sound of it. The fact that she might be threatening some sort've enterprise Kirk's working here hasn't crossed her mind. "You're a friend, so I think that should be enough. Even with how dirty a deed that was." She sticks her tongue out at him again.

[Gullara]

[Office]

Kirk simple gives her a level look and says, "You do realize that there's more going on here than you wanting to be a model, yes?" He says very evenly, with little emotion. "I enjoy your company very much, Fettina, and I am aware the fact you're here at all is my fault, but I won't allow you to tread on what I'm trying to do here. Understand?"

[Murkus]

[Office]

Tina recoils from Kirk's words. It's not any sort of physical reaction - but you can see it in her eyes. Her tongue recedes along with her bubbly attitude, and she becomes just the slightest bit more wary, unsure exactly what's happening here and worried about it. The cunning, self-involved little creature that stole Kirk's things in a room at Trog's all that time ago makes an appearance on her face. Betrayed by her expression.

She remembers this particular Kirk. And she doesn't like him.

"I was trying to ignore it. To let you be... whatever it is you're being. A spy, or a hitman, I guess?" Her smile's well gone, now. "I was never serious about making you do anything because I thought you liked me out there anyway. Or was that more of your bull****?" Oh, my, her voice has taken a very sudden drop in temperature. "Did you tell me I was good just to **** me? Huh?"

[Gullara]

[Office]

Kirk blinks, actually surprised. "Tina, you are aware this isn't a modelling agency, aren't you? And when I said that I would call you if something came up that was because there was no guarantee anything would come up. This is a silly, little promotion, not some string of potential modelling jobs."

[Murkus]

[Office]

"I was misinformed, then! I'm getting a lot of that here. But nice job, dodging the questions," Tina frowns and looks at him icily. "Mighta been smart to say that first, instead of acting all threatening, don'tcha think?" She attempts to mock, but she's upset enough that it comes out as somewhat angry.

[Gullara]

[Office]

"How in god's name was I supposed to realize that you thought this was a modelling agency of all things? Literally no one else who came here today thought that and we had people just wander in off the street." Kirk says. Rather scathingly, too. "Yes I wanted to **** you, but that's par for course, isn't it? How does calling you beautiful before hand suddenly transform it into some hidden motive?"

[Murkus]

[Office]

"When I said that I was looking for a modelling job? Hell, maybe before you came onto me, when I was asking about it there? But sure, hell, once you've had your fun let that slip. Once you've had your fun turn into Mr. Professional," Tina gets up off the desk and crosses her arms protectively over herself. He'd said if something came up. She just hadn't known SHEOL was more of a job agency than a place that actually needed it's own models, but still, that could've been made clear. And it's hardly the only issue.

"You're nothing but hidden motives, Kirk. You said I did good and looked good not because you thought it, but because you wanted to screw while you were pretending to be somebody else," She accuses, holding up a finger after the 'but'. "**** this, I want my clothes. I want outta here," She spits as she turns, clicking around Kirk's desk toward the door with an angry hustle in her stride.

[Gullara]

[Office]

"God dammit, Tina. Wait. I can't let you go like this." Kirk springs up from his seat and tries to grab Fettina's arm to stop her from leaving. This is a mess, and not just because she's angry with him. SHEOL could be compromised if she does something stupid.

[Murkus]

[Office]

"Hey!" Tina's hasty progress is halted by a hand around her bicep. She stops and half-turns, legs spread, face pointed at him. Her eyebrows drawn together in a scowl. The arm that isn't being held has formed a fist at her side, huge silver hoop bracelets dangling halfway to her knuckles. She's not quite angry enough to clock him one, but that could all change. She has (and rightly) assumed that she's being stopped not because he wants to apologize, but because he's concerned about his secret.

"Let go of me. Right now," Lesser men would drop dead from that gaze.

[Gullara]

[Office]

Kirk looks at her closed fist and the glare. As irritated as he is with her, he doesn't want to make the situation worse right now. He drops her arm. "I think I deserve for you to give me the benefit of the doubt, don't you? You don't have to jump to the worst possible conclusion." He says. A part of him knows he could fake an apology and smooth things over, but still he doesn't give any ground.
