Mutants and Masterminds: Quick ideas
So I have an idea to help give lots of people lots of ideas for villain, heroes, and organizations. Have a name followed by a one sentence descriptor for them to get the creative juices flowing. I will start out with some:
Garrote: Villain made entirely of metal wire with power over it.
The Wasp Knight: High-tech hero in battle armor with a wasp theme.
Policeman's Bane: Villain with power to redirect any bullet shot at him back at shooter.
The Freakshow: Teenage Rebels mixed with Biker gang and cybernetics. (Points if you know where this is from)

I always like:
The All-American Gangbanger: Think typical urban gang member, but with a ery strong American/Stars and Stripes theme.
The Spelling Bee: Bee themed character with a thing for spelling.
The Ampersand: The Spelling Bee's archnemesis.

The Light- A supposedly non-powered vigilante who combines impressive training with mysticism being able to make people think he can fly, turn invisible and even teleport amoung various supernatural-like feats.
Is actually a mantle worn by successive generations of a family whom the latest version is actually a woman posing as a man in a society where female heroes are prejudiced against.

Re: Mutants and Masterminds: Quick ideas
VISIBLE MAN!
Great hero with altruistic spirit matching Superman, who's only super power is that he's completely visible. That is, his powers include extreme amounts of (non-skeletal) X-ray vision, infinite visual magnification and various other super ocular/visual perception powers that by-pass any barrier or any distance... and which he only grants to anyone else other than himself, in the range (several galaxies or something like that)... and the granted power only works to detect himself and nothing else.
The end result being that if you look at the direction of VISIBLE MAN!, you'll see him, no matter what.
So, if VISIBLE MAN! is directely on the opposite side of the globe and you happen to look down, you'll see him.Last edited by Raimun; 2014-07-30 at 07:22 AM.

Re: Mutants and Masterminds: Quick ideas
Raimun - while I find VISIBLE MAN! quite entertaining, giving him a full paragraph descriptor kind of goes against the 'one sentence' portion I said in the beginning. It would be more like "Visible man - no matter what, you can always see him". This could actually be quite horrific if you took the 'always can see him' literal in that you could never sleep with him around. You could see him through your eyelids.
