my avatar won't show

hey, does anyone know how to get my account to show an avatar?
I selected one in the account creation process, but in my profile it says that i've selected to not have one and there aren't any other options.

If you go to your General Settings, down near the bottom you should have this:

If you pick Order of the Stick you should have dropdown options in the Order of the Stick avatar area (the forum preset avatars), or if you pick Custom you can paste the URL where your custom avatar is located in the Custom Avatar URL field.

Note that custom avatars don't show on mobile view (which is why I have a Order of the Stick avatar selected in addition to my custom avatar).

Which part or parts are you having trouble with?

Ah, that got me to actually look in the right place. looks like i had accidentally selected "Custom avatar".
