Worth a Thousand Words V Voting Thread
Welcome to the voting thread for A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words V!
Voting will consist of each voter giving a first, second, and third place vote for three separate prestige classes. Anyone can vote.
A first place vote is worth three points, a second place vote is worth two points, and a third place vote is worth one point. You may not vote for your own class.
You are encouraged to include reason with your votes, though this is not absolutely required.
The class that ends up with the most points wins the challenge contest. Voting starts with the posting of this thread and will continue until midnight GMT -6 (CST) March 17th.

Re: Worth a Thousand Words V Voting Thread
Well it was pretty tough to decide a 1st and 2nd choice between the two other entries, but in the end I've gotta give
1st: to Zaydos' Cantor of the Old Gods - solid flavor and well-thought-out mechanics. Though it's less likely I'd play that class than the blood mage, that's more of my personal preference against bard stuff, and overall, this class is more thorough.
and
2nd: to Jormengand's Blood Mage. I love the flavor on this, I can't wait for the blood spell descriptions to be posted; I can definitely see myself playing one of these sooner than later, and it's distinctly better than the existing official blood magic class.Behold! The Monster Compendium

Mine started with the intrepid heroes whisked away to a battle gauntlet in the sky by a mystery deity! It was meant to be strictly a playtest but quickly devolved.

Votes tallied. As there are only three entries, should I give participants the third-place point after they've voted or what? Right now I've just left the tally with the 1st- and 2nd-place points.

Re: Worth a Thousand Words V Voting Thread
1st: Beholderkin Slavemaster. I have a soft spot for beholderkin (the 2e illustrations coupled with true dragons did a lot to get me into DMing) and it's a really neat concept.
2nd: Bloodmage: Better than the Hemoscribe or whatever the CA blood mage class was.
I'd second that idea.Peanut Half-Dragon Necromancer by Kurien.
