Default Lack of clarity with tags

Just something I notice since the site upgrade: the tags being in FRONT of the title rather than AFTER the title really interferes with reading IMO. Take a look at how the homebrewing section looks now: it's a mess of colors and tags and unaligned text. I'm not really able to parse the information at a glance (like I used to). I think tags should be moved, or at least there should be an option for it (if there is one forgive my ignorance and please tell me).

    Maybe it's just me, IDK.

I find the prefix system much easier to scan. If I am looking in Media for discussion about Books, I can scan down for the [Books] prefix, ignoring the other thread titles, or I can just click on [Books] to filter only the threads with that prefix.

I don't know what you are scanning for in the Homebrew thread, but if you're primarily looking for Homebrew on a particular category, perhaps this will help?

    totally agree.
If this was the intent, this particular feature is spot on.

Piggybacking to ask - can we have a "3.5/PF" or "3.P" tag for combo threads? Many games mix elements from both systems or are specifically designed around specific interactions between systems.

This exactly. For almost all of my question threads, I'm equally open to replies involving 3.5 or Pathfinder--but the way it is now, if I select one tag then I'm presumed to be excluding the other, when really I want to be inclusive with both systems. Some form of combo tag would help me receive the broadest spectrum of answers, which would be much more helpful overall.

Yeah but if you want to scan, say, the Homebrew thread and DON'T want a specific category, the whole thing is a mess of completely useless tags and the titles can't be parsed.

That's your opinion. And, to be clear, it's a totally valid opinion - for you. Others have no problem reading thread titles with the tags there.

Sheriff: Okay, so opinion noted, but this falls into the category of things that might be different from the old version of the software, but it isn't broken.
