Monster ability DCs to a different stat

Normally save DCs of monster's special abilities are... well, Strength based (for Ex punchy things like trip), Dex-based (for catching enemies, ref save type stuff), occasionally con-based (breath weapons, poison?), or charisma based (for supernatural stuff).

Does anyone know of any way to move these about?

I'm fairly certain there isn't any official in-rules way to change the key stat for a natural attack; they're generally keyed to the abilities that make the most sense for them anyways. If you do want to tinker (and also happen to be the DM), though, doing so is as easy as changing the key stat without any justification other than your desiring to do so. Considering that there is almost no way for a player character to know the difficulty class of whatever saving roll they happen to be making at the time, there's virtually no chance that any of them will notice (and if they fail the save and then flip open the Monster Manual to see what the WotC-provided DC is, slap them on the wrist and maybe cut off one of their character's fingers ).

Assume, for the sake of argument, that I'm trying this as a PC.

I'd suggest a homebrew feat (similar to Lost Tradition):

ALTERNATE ATTACK [GENERAL]
Prerequisite: Ability Focus; Extraordinary, Spell-like or Supernatural special attack.
Benefit: You may change the ability score which determines the DC of any one special attack you possess.
Special: You can gain Alternate Attack multiple times. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new special attack.

Making a Monster Undead changes con based DC's to Charisma.

If you pick up an ability via Metamorphic Transfer, its DC is always Cha based, regardless of what it was before.
