Hercules - My favourite Fantasy Action Movie of the year

How come this isnt a thread yet? :D

Just came out of seeing it. As a popcorn flick, it was all I could ever hope for. Straightforward, epic and still smart enough to keep me thinking a bit during the movie.

I especially loved the movie's take on Hercule himself and his legend. Its the sort of stuff that reeks of RPG plot/PC scheme, and certainly the kind of the trick i know i pulled off/mused about a lot of time during my years of gaming.

Tl:dr --> fun movie that will appeal to fantasy gamers.

Hercules is also one of my favourite movies but I like 300 the more.

I'll gladly pay just about any amount of money to get a good look at The Rock for a few hours, but I was also impressed by the work they put into the other characters and the Myth of the title characters godhood. Also picture it as a pre visitation scion game with old guy as a disguised Zeus and it works out even better.
