Default 2e Online resource similar to 3.5/pathfinder srd website?

I am looking for an online resource that can be used by players and dms for quick reference, character creation, monsters, and so on. So far, I cannot find anything of the sort, but I would love to be able to know what it was like to play these games. If nothing else, it would be nice to read about these things. I only have a pdf, and that thing is a total nightmare to read through due to immense lag, and navigational issues. Page numbers aren't listed, you cannot click on a chapter... you pretty much have to scroll down until you find what you're looking for, and it's 557 pages. I just want the bare bones.

There really isn't one. AD&D 2nd edition isn't under OGL and so isn't released like D20 is.

You can try to track down a copy of For Gold and Glory retro-clone, but that's pretty much it.

One thing you might do with Gold and Glory (that I've done with games I wind up using a lot) is get the PDF and upload it to a cloud storage site. I've got the beta for Hackmaster's GMG on my GDrive, so I can reference it when I like (and make comments as I go through). Not quite as convenient as a website you can direct folks to, but handy for personal reference.

I was unaware of the existance of that place.

    Huh.

I have to question the strictest legality of it, but hey, if it's there I'll use it.
