That did get really bad in DBZ, as I recall. I just looked, and in the first season, there are 3 episodes in a ROW that say "_____ dies/says farewell!"

I think that literally every big event (as far as I bothered checking) is in the episode title. ... Damn, there's a crack in my rose-tinted glasses.

Of course, that may be why it doesn't bother me as much. As long as it's not a two-year wait between episodes, of course.

Yeah, in particular I remember the episode from the Frieza Saga titled "Vegeta Dies."

Considering that he stays dead for less time than practically anybody in the history of DBZ, I guess it isn't too bad in hindsight. Still....

That's encouraging. He said something like that on the News post for #946, but it's really good to hear that things may still work out like that. I would gladly have even longer update gaps if it meant getting the book by the holidays!

Surprise! Roy is actually Eugene in disguise, and not a fighter but a wizard! He just used an illusion of Roy in all the scenes in which he appears to talk to Roy, and uses Polymorph to appear different when 'Roy' is in a panel without 'Eugene'.
