Advice needed on Podcasting
Hello Playground, it my unending quest to have some kind of creative output, I've decided to make a podcast. Combining my love of world making and my enjoyment of historical podcasts like Revolutions and Hardcore History, I'm going to make a fictional historical podcast about a Civil War that combines Wuxia and Steampunk elements. I've written out a few episodes and just in the starting phases of recording, which is where I'm running into problems. Anyone know how to record without having a low frequency buzzing noise in the background? Are there any good free programs out there for editing audio? Any newbie mistakes I should avoid? Are there any good resources/works I can get use to get a good feel for both genres?

Where did you start your first campaign?

Rendclaw at the Dragonsfoot Forums could probably help you out. He's one of the THACO's Hammer podcast co-hosts.
