Old video game
I remember playing an old video game where a side plot was to help the lizardmen kill a wizard that was using them as experiments. I think it was one of the SSI gold box games but xant rightly remember. Any ideas as to which one it might be?
I'd like to use the plot as a basis for a dnd 3.5 game or is there already an adventure out there based on these?

Pool of Radiance. One of the available quests once you get out of the city, it allows you to clean the river that has been polluted. There is an RPG product for that game, incidentally; "Ruins of Adventure". You might be able to find it on eBay or similar.

I have played that game so many goddamn times, and it's still fun.
