    This is lovely.

It reminds me of the stories I used to write as a child involving Blue Penguins steal souls and pots of gold.

So... I wrote a short story earlier in the week and sent it off to get edited, with high hopes for the thing. I just got it back, and it's covered in red.

Note to self: Telling a story in reverse (especially without marking subtitles) is a bad idea, no matter how artsy/cool you think it is.

Memento was such a great movie and it's one of the saddest things that I had to link my Dad to a "Momento told backwards" video for him to fully understand what actually happened.

My last minute costume is Quote from Cave Story. I had planned on going as him for a while but never got around to buying a costume. Luckily, I can throw together a black shirt, hat, green scarf, and red shorts quickly enough to create a good enough costume.

I'm reminded of my favorite Phineas and Ferb episode.

EDIT: My Uncle Jack would never off a horse; nor would he smoke a horse; nor would he give a horse cement shoes; nor would my Uncle Jack cause a horse to swim with the fishes. Even if he were to do one of those things, he would not need help from me. I don't have an Uncle JAck.

I always see these screenshots of popular tumblr conversations where people reblog each other and have generally good, funny times on that website. I never seem to know how these people do it, as I can't ever find posts like that. When I link to the blog that I saw in the screenshot, I see an untagged post with thousands of notes. Also one time, I linked to a blog and found porn.

Once? Unless it's the fact that it contains alcohol (and even then there's de-alcholised wine), then that's like saying you don't like the taste of chocolate, nuts, seafood, or some such. There are so many different types of wine. You've tried one, the rest are completely different.

There's dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate, those are all completely different. And, within those three base varieties of chocolate, there area millions of variations of of flavours. I don't generally like dark chocolate, for example, except I do like a certain after dinner dark chocolate often given out on particular plane flights, and I do like a certain rum and raisin dark chocolate.

There's white wine, red wine, pink wine, other colours too. There's sparkling wine, and non-sparkling. In the non-sparkling, there can be a spritz flavour which makes it taste like it's sparkling. There are a range of different flavours, from the very dry to the extremely sweet. Then there's lots of wine derivatives, including fortified wines such as port, sherry, vermouth, and muscat.

There's a whole world of wine out there, and that's why wine tasting is as big of an event as it is.

Hey friendly friends! For those of you interested in what cool thread project I'll be doing next, here is a quote about it. Be sure to vote and participate and junk, prizes exist.

Quote Originally Posted by LaZodiac View Post

And it's one that you'll all have a say in...for you see, in this thread the three people who contributed the most to discussion got to choose a game, and I put it in this list. Everyone gets to vote on a game in that list, and on Monday the order they are in are the order that I'll do video threads for them! Additionally, starting now every game thread I make is going to have a contribution reward, based on the game in question.

Here is the poll: What Game Is Next?

Now, here are the description of these games, for those of you unaware of them! I'll also be detailing what kind of thread is to be expected.

    1. The Legend of Zelda The Minish Cap: One of the Legend of Zelda games, specifically the top down ones ala Link to the Past. I'll be getting 100% in this one, and the thread will be discussing the timeline to SOME degree but mostly just discussing the events of the game and stuff. You know, fun stuff!

    2. Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure: A point and click adventure game for the Wii! We're a pirate with an ancient mayan monkey-bell thing that can turn living beings into artifacts (from people into blocks, from frogs into frogbombs). Our hero is questing on this island with his rabbit pirate crew family to find the legendary treasure of Barbaros! This will be a 100% run, and we'll be discussing piratey stuff, the point and click genre, and likely talking about real treasures and stuff that all the treasure is based on. It'll be neat! Yarhar.

    3. Sproggiwood: A roguelike town building game where you play as...I'm not quite sure. Point is you're someone who has to create a town and use it's inhabitants to clear out dungeons because it's a roguelike! It's based on Finnish mythology. As far as I'm aware it has an ending that is at least achiveable and I'll be trying to get 100%. Full disclosure I'm getting a free copy of the game for doing this as a review copy but I'm not being influenced in any way on what I'm going to say about it. We'll hopefully be discussing the genre of Roguelikes, mythology, and probably will include lots of yelling at me because I'm bad at the game since it's a game I'll be playing blind! Also, I will be trying to get some real "from the horses mouth" as it where information from Finnish people to talk about things we see in game, so that'll be fun.

With that, you have until Monday to vote in the poll linked above. Enjoy!

Sommeliering is a growing and highly regarded profession these days (accusations of wine tasting being so much bull**** notwithstanding). Even supermarkets and food distributors are getting in on the action, never mind the restaurants, hotels and actual vintners. Getting a recognised accreditation as sommelier is pretty prestigious, at least over here.
