Need a hand with my Halfling Druid Brixashulty Rider

Hello friends!

I have DM'd a few low level campaigns that went on for a few sessions but I am still fairly new and this campaigns DM is 100% new so he looks to me often for advice. Which would normally be fine, however, during my travels I came up with an idea for character. The Halfling Druid Brixashulty rider. I want to do mounted combat but have not tackled this before. I really only have a few questions.

1. The campaign moves day to day in a way that we may be level two in a week or two (Possibly even less). There is literally no down time where a week could pass and I could easily train my sweet Brixashulty tricks. Suggestions? (I've tinkered with the idea of teaching multiple tricks per day so in one week he may learn 2 tricks.)

2. What feats/tricks should I take? (I'm thinking Ride by Attack)

3. How do I train my Brixashulty for war (Like the warhorse so I can avoid that pesky 20 combat ride check)

4. At a later lever my Brixashulty will be traded in for a flying mount Suggestions?
