"The artifact itself is a staff heavily attuned to magic related to law and purification." Explains Grace, looking around the lab. She's no stranger to messy labs. "I was using it to purge a demonic corruption and place it in a suitable vessel. Unfortunately, my planned vessel was lost, and I attempted to use the staff as a vessel instead." Clearly that didn't work too well. "If you happen to have any dragon bone on hand, I believe that particular substance is anathema to this variety of demonic corruption."

If they care for Fade be around, he might be there standing in a shadow where it is a bit harder to see him. You likly miss him if you don#t know he is there. Otherwise he got nothing to say for now.

"Alright. Make sure to wring a lot of money out of them." Vincent turns to follow Caroline and Olivette to the Infirmary.

Caroline takes Olivette to the infirmary... and waits for CB to come check on the woman. "CB? Um, is there anyone here?"

Meanwhile, as soon as Olivette leaves the room, the fainting couch disappears as well.

CB has been turned into an NPC a while ago. He'll admit Olivette in, and provide her with all the necessary care.

Infirmary

Vincent watches the short treatment fade out and back in scene, resulting no doubt in being told that Olivette is resting now.

"We could have just given her a potion. Though I suppose that would be a waste of an item." This way they get to keep the item.

"I think it was part of the storyline, Vincent. What do we do now? Do you think Mister Dipsnig might have another job for us?" Caroline asks, trying to hook an arm with him.

Fade is here again. He is a bit bored or so it seems since he hasn't gone for a job latly. In a way the current jobs don't suit him well and that's not only because it would be the same player on both sides.

Infirmary

"Oh there's always another job. There's even a job board full of rotating side quests." It might be awkward if they go pick one up that another team is already working on though.

Arm hook is successful. "We should probably go to bed first though. No point in not taking advantage of free HP and MP refills." Better than paying for an inn, certainly.
