lvl 6 monk, need help in picking feats and items

i need to choose items and feats, but this is my first time playing 4e, so i really need your help.
we have one 6th lvl item, and two 5th lvl items, and 1000 gold (so that's another 5th lvl item i can buy).

What way do you want to go with this monk? It always helps to tell that. Also, is your group very optimized?

in the team we have fighter paladin & rogue, they are not very optimized but they have good builds.
