Streets of the Town XVII

[Kyrian]

Nazgul and Aeri walk out from the apartments and head down the street.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles as she walks, looking around at the various places they pass.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul constantly glances at Aeri and smiles as they walk.

[Deadly]

Aeri looks up at him and smiles Seeing something you like?

[Kyrian]

Not something... Nazgul smiles.

[AmberVael]

((Thief! Thief! That is the question I use! ))

[Deadly]

((Yeah... You know, I thought there was something odd about it... didn't sound right :) Oh well, I feel like I need to sleep for a month or so))

Aeri smiles as her player struggles to regain some shred of clarity

[Kyrian]

Nazgul kisses Aeri as they reach the woods.

[Blood]

A rather old looking man with thinning white hair and a pseudodragon on his shoulder walks into Town. He seems to be carrying more than one Handy Haversack, and there is a young female half-elf with pink hair right behind him.

"Where are we?"
"They call it simply, The Town." The old man smiles.

He walks into the Streets and looks for a place with lots of people. He quickly finds Trog's and walks in, the half-elf close behind him with wide eyes.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel enters the streets. He starts searching through the alleys for the Thunderhawk Nukulor mentioned.

[Blood]

The old man, Bannel the pseudodragon, and the half-elf child come back out of Trog's and begin searching for the "OniShop." After about ten minutes, they finally find it, and discover that it's called the "OmniShop." The old man raises an eyebrow at the name, but then remembers that it sells "everything."

They walk inside, the half-elf gaping at its hugeness.

[blackout]

The Thunderhawk is hidden in an alley to Nathaniel's right, covered in garbage bags.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel walks over to the Thunderhawk and looks around, wondering what to do now.

[Obsidian Blade]

Sia slinks out of Trog's and wanders the streets.

[blackout]

The Thunderhawk's side door opens.
Climb in. We gotta bail, now.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel moves in to the Thunderhawk, pondering what he's getting himself into this time.

[blackout]

The door slams shut suddenly, and the Thunderhawk lifts off. Some poor unfortunate schmuck gets hit with one of the garbage bags, which happen to be filled with a large number of rotted meats and cheese-gone-bad. The Thunderhawk flies to the south. Nathaniel should be taking notice of the other nineteen men in the Thunderhawk, all wearing Blackout Raiders Special Operations uniforms and powered-armor.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel looks around the vehicle, noting the Blackout Raiders. He doesn't realize that they are Special Operations, as he is unfamiliar with Raiders uniform.

"So where are we headed?"

[blackout]

No one responds.
The Thunderhawk pilot's voice comes on over the ship's intercom. OK, people, exiting atmo!
The ship shakes violently, but exits the atmosphere unscathed.

[Chaotic Bob]

Xeni runs out of Trog's, a rare fearful look on his face. He looks around and dashes off to the first place that comes to mind: The slums.

[Obsidian Blade]

Sia follows Xeni, trying to stay unnoticed.

[Therarde]

Therarde appears on the street, looks confused, and walks into Trog's.

[Dartonus]

A large, Acorn shaped object slams into the street with a massive crash. It creates a hole and falls into the sewers.

[NecroPaladin]

Namesake turns his head with a *crack* and walks purposefully to the hole, before jumping in without a word.

[Dartonus]

A massive army of rippers and Genestealers enter the Town. They camp by the gates, attacking those who get too close.

[NecroPaladin]

The streets crack and sink, particularly centered at the Tyranid break point. A bloodied (arsenicied?) Namesake pulls himself out. He then pulls his arm out after him, and smacks at what appear to be some invisible enemies in a rage.

When he hears no more Tyranid breathing, he stretches and cracks his spine, satisfied. He holds his arm in his hand, surveying the damage.

"Ugh. I despise putting these back on. You creatures may outmatch me now, but you'll suffer likewise if I have any say in it."

He keeps his distance, zapping his arm back into place occasionally with a black wand. He then calmly removes his canteen and douses the spreading fire on his back.

[Therarde]

Therarde walks out of Trog's, looks at the hole curiously, and then sits to watch.

[NecroPaladin]

Namesake pulls down his hood, which has all but burned off.

"Erg! This is a flame-enchanted hood! It shouldn't even be possible to burn it!"

He tosses it angrily aside and the fervor in him dies down. Suddenly self-concious, he dons his iron burial mask less to hide his nature than to spare anyone having to see his skinned, lipless, eyeless visage. After all, everyone seemed to know his nature already, but that doesn't mean they should have to look at him.

Without turning to Therarde,

"I wouldn't count ... on them to move. They're keeping us in for now. I'm assuming ... we're in for something big."

[Therarde]

Therarde thinks foro a moment, whispers something to his eagle, which then flies off his shoulder, and scouts the army by the gates from above.

[Obsidian Blade]

Sia runs into Trog's not looking at anything.
