Streets of the Town XVII

[Nevrmore]

An NPC, as if to counterbalance something Nevrmore's player has been doing, suddenly falls to his knees, scratching as his neck wildly. It is in vain, though, as he suddenly explodes into a cloud of yellow spores.

[Chaotic Bob]

The illithid, Tel, and aRizzen watch the spectacle from on top of a nearby building, with the wind blowing away from them.
How odd....
Was there any reason for that I wonder...

[McBish]

Eric heads back to the Town apartments.

[Obsidian Blade]

Two figures hide in the shadows of the streets. A young man with flaming red hair covered by a black hood turns to the woman. His green eyes are solemn as he signals to her.
We are to meet with Sia Langues tomorrow. Let's go find the SafeHouse.
The woman, possibly in her late twenties, nods, her elven face sharp in the moonlight. She beckons and they enter the Slums.

[Dartonus]

A potted plant turns into a tentacled mound with circular toothed mouths. The army by the gates moves for the station.

[Baeleck]

Lycande leaves the tavern, stumbling out the door a bit. She gives a long sigh, and tries to calm herself.

{Elf} Oh... what do I tell him?

She bites her lip and stands there, leaning against the wall.

[Castaras]

The balor walks out of the tavern, thinking hard. He makes his way down the streets, concentrating on something or other. He comes to the police station, and stares into it, thinking.

Why that idiot...after all that work...

He clenches his fist, and makes his way into the slums..

[Baeleck]

Lycande looks at the balor leave, and then warily makes her way back inside.

[Castaras]

Fus walks out of the station, and makes his way down to Saurous' guild.

[Exachix]

Karaki leaves trogs and waits for Lycande.

[Baeleck]

Lycande steps out onto the streets, smiling a little.

You lead.

She follows close behind him.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and leads her to the beach!

[Castaras]

Tasha leaves the station and heads for the tavern.

[Therarde]

Therarde wonders why he's been sitting there for several hours and goes inside Trog's, whistling for his eagle.

[Chaotic Bob]

A small rift opens near the slums, several shadow elementals pouring out with Katalia striding out after them. The elementals spread out into the slums while Katalia takes the scenic flight route.

aRizzen tenses and Tel places a spindly hand on his shoulder.
Calm Rizzen. I'll not have both of my charges dead.
But she's right there!
And notice that she has more elementals with her now. I would like to remind you that we survived on luck alone.
Well we need to do something.
aRizzen shakes the hand off and slips into the slums. The illithid rubs its head.
Dammit.

[Exachix]

Karaki and Lycande walks from the beach, heading to the Apartment complex.

[Baeleck]

Lycande follows, taking quick steps to catch up. She holds his hand and lets him lead her on.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and leads her to the Town Hills Apartments.

[NecroPaladin]

Namesake's eyes sputter and glow again beneath his mask. Wakey-wakey.

He stands up stiffly, makes the last few adjustments to his arm, and walks off to Trog's.

[Castaras]

A trickle of spiders come up through the cobbles to a small grey bricked house. They enter it and begin exploring, passing a variety of objects along, ranging from books to gems to rusty weapons. After a while the whole house has been cleared of anything of value, leaving behind an empty shell. A slightly larger spider stays behind, and magic slowly pulls the darkened house back underground, as if it had never been. The large spider then scuttles away back into the sewers after the other spiders.

Tasha walks out of Trogs and heads for the slums.

[Xaspian]

((Aw crank... spiders...))

The Pigeon flaps across the streets, slightly bored.

[Dartonus]

The sewage blocked by a large amount of rubble in the sewers begins to overflow onto the street.

[Nevrmore]

A random and very unbalanced NPC gets down on all fours and begins lapping at the backup like a dog.

Nevrmore laughs.

[Dartonus]

A 5 foot geyser of you-know-what spouts into the NPC's face. Dartonus laughs.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey notes the geyser of effluent and decides to investigate.

"I have the feeling I'm going to need a bath when I'm done..."

[Castaras]

((Aw crank... spiders...))

(( *Evil Laughter* ))

A spider comes out from one of the sewer holes, and creeps into the shadows, eyes red pinpoints in the darkness of the alleyways.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey inspects the crap geyser, a transparent hemisphere protecting him from the majority of the mess.

"Well... this is thoroughly unpleasant."

[McBish]

Eric leaves Trog's and waits around outside for something.

[The Black Prince]

Matt rushes after TPB.

[Nevrmore]

The NPC eventually dies from fecal poisoning.
