Streets of the Town XVII

[Dark Saiyans]

Roxas and Axel are both knocked back by the surprise attack. Xemnas grins as he summons several red spikes and sends them after Kyrian. He then vanishes and rushes at Kyrian from behind, trying to knock him towards Alarra's gems.

[Hawkeye]

"Mmm? No, can't think of any at the moment, love."

[Nevrmore]

Plot sighs, "You are right...I am just a shell of my former self."

[Kyrian]

Kyrian growls and dodges most of the spikes, save for two. One embeds itself dangerously close to his heart, the other in his right arm. Xemnas' rush is true, and Kyrian finds himself heading toward the shop, bleeding badly and cringing in pain.

[Warpfire]

"So you aren't as powerful as you once were, then? Why?" Nathaniel turns around, curious.

((This is a strange conversation...))

[Nevrmore]

"Exactly the reason you have said. No one cares anymore. THey actively ignore me and everything around them...It's weakened me. I mean, look, at this very moment there is a fierce battle going on between a god and three people who are rip-offs of two different Japanese created sources, and that winged girl and her boyfriend don't even care!"

[Dark Saiyans]

Xemnas laughs. He's not ready yet, we leave.

The three vanish, with much grumbling from the other two.

[Warpfire]

"Indeed, 'tis a sad state of affairs." Nathaniel says, without sarcasm. "Though I admit, I have contributed to it in my own small ways. And what's Japanese?"

[Hawkeye]

Merant leaves the tavern and looks around the streets.

[Nevrmore]

"It's...nevermind." Plot sighs, sitting down. "I've tried everything, but nothing works...Nothing makes people realize how important I am."

Alena grins and lifts her voice to the sky, flying a bit higher as she sings. She cuddles him closer to her warmth.

[Kyrian]

Merant would see signs of the brief struggle, and the destroyed window at Alarra's Gems.

[Warpfire]

"Ah, well, it isn't as bad as it could be," Nathaniel thinks for a moment, wondering how it could be worse.

"At least people still follow plots that they're directly involved with from the beginning," he offers.

[Hawkeye]

Alex closes his eyes and sighs happily.

Merant smirks and shakes his head at the very small area of destruction.

[Nevrmore]

"But if you compare those individual plots to the rest of the world it barely even makes up a small fraction..."

[Warpfire]

"Well, you aren't going to get anywhere like that." He sticks his hand out to help Plot up. "If there's one thing I've learned in twenty years of military service, its that-"

Nathaniel falls into dead time abruptly, his hand still stuck out towards Plot.

[wxdruid]

Alena whispers and her words are whipped away into the wind, You are my sweetheart. She hums

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles and leans up to kiss her. He glances down for a second, and he tenses "I think we should get out of here Alena"

[wxdruid]

Alena looks down and dives for their roof top.

[Hawkeye]

Merant hmphs at the lack of anything to do. He takes a walk which goes past the Alarra's Gems shop humming

[McBish]

((Good song.))

[NecroPaladin]

State emerges from the sewers. Two minions in tow, he forsakes marching but rather dashes through the streets.

[Nevrmore]

((Is my dying dude in tow?))

[NecroPaladin]

((He's been at HQ for a while. Two minions dragged him there.))

[Goblin Music]

Sylk exits SGMP and heads of to trogs.

[Nevrmore]

A female, only about a foot tall, with deep blue wings flies throughout the streets, taping posters to fences and walls and what-not.

The posters read:

Therarde walks out of Trog's and makes himself comfortable in an out-of-the-way alley somewhere, before going to sleep.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel wakes up from dead time. He shakes his head and mumbles, "Never going to get used to that..."

He then looks around curiously, wondering if the manifestation of plot is still around. He starts on down the street.

[NecroPaladin]

Namesake steps out, ready to comfort Plot, then realizes that he only hurts Plot further by being in two places at once (and two personas at once). He hastily dons his mask and helm and *zorp*s back to K.N.A.V.E.S HQ.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel blinks as Namesake steps out, then immediately disappears. In the end, he just shrugs and keeps walking aimlessly.
