Streets of the Town XVII

[Nevrmore]

Plot idly watches the small woman posting signs all over the streets, sighing.

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel wanders past Plot.

"Still hanging around here, eh? Shouldn't you be off doing...plot-y things?"

[NecroPaladin]

((Hehe, not really. Plot is effectively an unemployed bum in this setting. ))

[Warpfire]

((Heh, true. But at least he's better off than poor Continuity.))

[NecroPaladin]

((Yeah...sometimes I miss him. And sometimes I laugh just thinking about how he died about 16 times simultaneously to get where he is now.))

[Warpfire]

Nathaniel once again falls victim to the ever-present shadow of Dead Time.

[Obsidian Blade]

Sia wakes from Dead Time, roused by the incessant voice of the Co-Ordinater in her head.
What's going on over there? The Wizards just informed me that Lelin's using her powers!
Sia groans, then lies through her teeth.
We got an easy mission for a lot of money. She must have forgotten the ban.
I don't want or need my agents showing off their respective talents to the world. Make sure it dosen't happen again.
Yes, Co-Ordinater. But about Amik, I don't think it was a very good idea to send him-
If you two have issues, sort it out. Non-lethally. I'm not removing him because you can't cope with the way he treats you.
He cuts off communication, and she sighs and looks down the street for signs of Lelin, before returning to Adder.

[Nevrmore]

"Now as I was saying earlier, these cops don't understand anything but blunt words or blunt objects."

[Obsidian Blade]

So you're not worried that we've lost the element of suprise?

[Nevrmore]

"Not at all, because of those policemen listening to this very conversation right now, they all think I'm some stupid two-bit criminal with his head up his ass. They don't think I'm capable of anything, and even listening to me talking about it won't change their minds."

[Obsidian Blade]

Sia shrugs in agreement. Police are like that. I'd ask what you are capable of, but I'll wait until you get that dumb bracelet off.

[Nevrmore]

Adder smiles, "Yeah, for right now, as far as we're concerned I'm only capable of building treehouses and having sleepovers, you get it?"

[Obsidian Blade]

She grins. Sure. What happens now?

[Nevrmore]

"Now, I say we go relax in Trog's. This bracelet is really limiting our options."

[Obsidian Blade]

She nods, and heads into Trog's without looking back.

[Narross]

Narross enters the town, riding a large brown horse sweating from the gallop it is in. Controling the horse only with his knees, he rides through the streets with his two "Narak" blades held loosly in his hands.
He stops at Trogs Tavern, ties his horse to a post outside and walks in.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks out of the mages guild and heads over to Trogs.

[Castaras]

An apprentice walks out of Saurous' guild. He takes out a note, looks at it, and then makes his way into the slums.

[Xaspian]

Pelgof walks out of the Guild. He looks up and down the street before heading to Trog's.

He leaves, and wanders the streets for a while.

Castaras walks out of Trogs and heads for Saurous' guild.

Paul walks into carren Woops sorry carren! No problem. want to got trogs together? Paul thinks about it Ok! Paul and carren walk of together.

[Goblin Music]

Dall walks to trogs

[Castaras]

Fus walks out of Trogs and heads down into the slums.

[Baeleck]

A brownish-green goo begins to form around a manhole. It soon forms into some sort of creature, with red glowing eyes. It slithers around a bit, keeping to the shadows. It sees a lone NPC walking down the street, and so aproaches it, forming into a cat. "Hello there." It is not to good at disguising its voice. The NPC looks at him.
"Hmm, hello there, cat. You look like a stray to me..."
"Aye, I am. I'm rather hungry too..." It muffles a croak and licks its lips.
"Oh, well maybe I can help."
"You could indeed. Stand still a moment."
"Wait, wha-"
"BLARG!" The Wampus jumps at the NPC, its teeth and claws growing very long and sharp. It begins to rip the NPC to pieces, before dragging it away into a back alley, returning to its slime form, and absorbing the corpse. It then slides back down the manhole.

[Exachix]

The pair enter the streets, the pair being Karaki, Lycande and Feniar.

[Baeleck]

Lycande puts a hand around Karaki's waist and they enter Trogs. No sooner than they reach the door, however, than Baeleck beckons them back out.

[Exachix]

Karaki hmms.

"What was the matter?"

[Baeleck]

Baeleck looks back at the slightly open door. He can see a giant muffin inside, and lots of smaller ones spew out the door. "Bae?" Lycande says, looking at him with a curious expression.
"Mu... muffins. So - many - muffins!" He blinks a bit, looking dazed.

[Exachix]

Karaki blinks.

"Ohkay... Baeleck, calm down."

[Baeleck]

Feniar shuts the door, noticing the muffins, and his eyes widening a bit. "He's right, y'know..." Baeleck shakes his head a bit, throwing off his dazed state. He blinks again.
"Ok. That was just wierd." He looks around for a second, then turns to the three of them, looking as though he'd only just spotted them. "Hey." Lycande raises an eyebrow.
"Uh... Hey, Bae. You feeling ok?"
"Fine thanks. Tired though. Oh, and sorry about yesterday... I was in a bit of a bad mood."
